KelticMaster -> Anal sex and a question (12/22/2007 8:35:51 AM)

My submisive and I enjoy anal sex. But in the last few months she has been getting sore and taking a while to recover from a round of anal sex. The question I pose is this. Why is she experiencing this soreness and is there a way to help her to not feel it or to help her recover from it or is there a bit of a deeper problem in this?

Sir, how often and how long are the sessions? are you using a condom? sometimes those need a lubercant (spelling sucks).... a little preparation (foreplay) goes a long way to health. easing in, using a vitamin based ointment might help, vitamin E in the oil form i find to be helpful in the healing process... warm sitz baths like they give for women that have had stitches after having a baby helps as well...

Have her get on all fours, you get behind her and get an upclose look at her asshole.....does it look angry? swollen/ inflamed? does it have that cute little starfish appearance?
How long after "stirring her shit" does the discomfort start? How long does the pain last? Is being a "rump wrangler" an important part of your sexual encounters with her? Do you prep her for the "butt-humping"?
There are too many unknown variables here to give an accurate bit of advice. Details?

more good things to think about, Have you changed brands of lube or condom? have you increased your intesity or duration?

The reasons could be many. If there's small tears in the skin around the anal opening, she may not be fully ready before insertion. She may have developed a sensitivity to the lube and/or condom. Soemtimes if you get too energetic and the thrusting may cause redness and sensitivity. I'd keep tabs if there's any blood or the pain increases as it may indicate another problem.

Have you asked HER what she thinks the issue is?

Hell, sometimes it's all in the angle...

You know, you might want to ask a doctor.  If you don't feel comfortable talking about anal sex with your doctor, that's an indication that you need a different doctor.

Going slower and with all the lube she can handle will help.  Than before you start anything, take 30 minutes to 1 hour doing some anal play with her.  When she's not busy, have her do intervals of 1 hour with a buttplug and a few hours off.

gcarlos -> RE: Anal sex and a question (12/22/2007 11:27:41 AM)

This could stem from a completely emotional level too.  No amount of lube, fondling etc can overcome an emotional block on her part.  Have you discussed this possible source of the issue with her at all?

Best,
Their {girl}

Ok, Bastardly hahaha...perhaps i should have been a bit more clear.  What i meant was that if she is experiencing some type of emotional block where she just cannot "let go" enough to let her anal sphincter relax, yet the OP is penetrating her anus, this could lead to the after effects that she is experiencing.

Best,
Their {girl}

Where is she experiencing pain ?  at the anus or hgher up ,  if near the anus it could be hemmoroids forming just inside the anus,   if higher up does it seem worse just before or during her menstrual cycle?  if so could be endometriosis http://www.merck.com/mmhe/sec22/ch245/ch245a.html

a lot of different possible causes with the worst being colonic cancer or other cancer tumor nearby in the abdominal cavity  so definitely worth finding out why

Actually, emotional states make MANY people's assholes sore----it's called hemorrhoids!

lronitulstahp -> RE: Anal sex and a question (12/23/2007 6:35:55 AM)

Position is important. For example, i always seem to be most comfortable on my back with my legs up in the air.  Anal pentration in that position is sublime. i think most Doms prefer the doggie position for the visual effect, but surely a recipient has knowledge of which position provides the most ease and comfort. The problem may be, sometimes, us subbie types like a little discomfort: crave it, in fact  The secret is knowing when to realize it's too much to be truly useful to our Dom/Master in the long run, and back off from the rougher stuff.  Or really lube up, enjoy the rough stuff, and keep in mind Your hole may need a bit of recuperating time, but You had a lot of fun getting it in that predicament!   [image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m11.gif[/image]

I'm sorry, totally off, but your post just has me cracking up Old1. I love reading your post. My question is do you want details to help answer the OP or to titilate your senses?

OldBastardly1 -> RE: Anal sex and a question (12/24/2007 9:08:21 PM)

It is purely for clinical reasons. [sm=cool.gif]

xara -> RE: Anal sex and a question (12/24/2007 9:52:59 PM)

She could have a small tear in the lining of the anal canal, called an anal fissure. These can be excruciatingly tender, and may take a long time to heal. To help heal the soreness, the warm sitz baths several times a day are a good idea, as well as using Preparation H or other hemorrhoid type cream to decrease the inflammation. She should watch her diet so as to keep her bowel movements soft until the soreness has been gone for a couple of weeks; she may need to use a stool softener to keep from having to strain. Giving her butt several weeks of exit only traffic would give her time to see if the problem will correct itself. Then, resuming slowly and doing as others have suggested, using tons of lube, etc, may help keep the problem from recurring.
