Its Christmas again - time to spend time with family and friends, exchange gifts and enjoy ourselves.

But, for thousands its a very different time of year - and I'd like to invite everyone here to try to bring at least some festive cheer to the lives of those who wont be having a good time as the internet falls quiet.

Yes, we're talking about trolls. Lurking beneath bridges for the holiday season, theyre often cold, lonely and hungry for internet contact for over a week. We cant let this continue.

How you can help;
1) Post here with something to keep the trolls well nourished until 2nd January; trolls particularly enjoy sordid erotica, mentions of sexploits real and imagined, descriptions of human body parts and other similar fare. Some trolls enjoy being told how great they are, whilst some love to be told how not great they are, so there's plenty of scope to give something that can really make a difference.
2) Make suggestions as to things which trolls can do to keep themselves occupied for the holiday season. Trolls dont mind if they're being useful or not, remember!
3) Offer a home for a troll this Christmas - though bear in mind that they might not be anywhere to be found when you make the offer.

If youre a troll reading this, then the Troll Rescue Foundation Inc (TM) welcomes your contributions to this thread too - tell us what you'd most like for Christmas, how you'd like to spend the holiday season and so on. We will try to include your suggestions into appeals for subsequent years.

Thank you for listening

E
