So? Spill it- what’d you guy’s get?
To start: Scarf from my best friend, the ubiquitous starbucks gift card from another, and my parents will coving the moving expenses for my upcoming move to a new apt). From my slave’s family, a silver locket with his baby photo (awwww!), from him: my fav perfume, a hello kitty necklace (*ahem* yeah, that is how I roll), and the famed fox tail butt plug…naturally, that is a somewhat self serving gift, but I am sure I will as get much enjoyment out of it as he [;)]

Well, some stanger felt the need to run a red light and  gift me with a redesigned front end and a knot on my head.   Possibly causing the unwanted gift of a car payment for then next 3-5 years.  

A bookcase,books, clothes, shoes, a cheezy clock, picture frames and a few IOUs.

so far all santa brought my family was a tummy bug causing "the kittens" to all get sick, three out of four spent the day throwing up.  so much for a nice holiday.

Oh I am so sorry that happened to you, at least you were not seriously hurt.

Oh man!  and hre I was thinking this would be a fun and light hearted thread...Maybe I should rename it "Hoilday Doom and Gloom"...[:o]  Quick- someone post happy stories to cheer these guys up, they need it!

Heheh. Hubby outdid himself this year. =)

A soft, warm, fleecy new robe with snuggly socks to match
A soft, warm, snuggly throw blanket (we're big on cuddly stuff around here)
a few CDs, a Border's gift card, a punjabi suit! lots of hair care products to manage my curly mane. A necklace. A light-up Christmas penguin.  A Yankee candle. =)

A new set of headphones,a wrangler fur line jacket,  a set of slobber straps and bridle and bit for my horse, 6 cell flashlight and too many others to mention, yes ol santa was very good to this ol'master..

Speaking of horse stuff...

I was my own Santa this year.. all of our money except for the wee one... went to buying me a horse and tack for him.

*squeals in delight ~ I got a pony!!!!!*

Ok.. not a pony.. he is 16.6 hh ( that's big ya'll ) and he is a grand ol boy... He is a Paint with mane that matches my red hair. When ever I go to groom him everyone passing by comments on how our hair matches.

*does happy dance* I have not had a horse of my own since I was a teenager.. so it was a huge deal for me.

I also picked up a new nifty Purple riding crop for "Home use" while I was at the tack store.. *WEG* my girl looked at me and said "You never use those on a horse Dawn.. what the hell are you doin'?" I said "That is for home use darlin' " hehehehehe...

So I am off to the barn to take care of my big baby.

His name is Jazz.

I also got my son stuff I would play with ( yeah bad I know.. but he is finaly old enough to get the cool stuff ) like a Catapult, Dragons, Jousters on horseback and seige equiptment that goes to his big assed wooden castle I bought him last year. We are planning a campaign now to lay siege to it later. *big grins*

It was a good Christmas.

From my Dad, I got a fabric paint kit from dharma trading company, from my mom I got a 300 some odd piece scrap booking kit complete with tote, from My Daddy dom he bought me some fimo rose beads, and some fimo easter egg beads, and 12 tote bag pack, some paintbrushes some hello kitty coloring books, and some pretty white little flower type things from the wedding section in michaels, I wanna put them on headbands.

And best of all a gorgious stuffed doggie from my friend chelle, It's the cousin to her stuffed dog Drew, and the dog and I have decided his name shall be snowey theChristmas dog, cause he's white  on his underbelly the face stripe and he has snow flakes on his scarf, and well he came at Christmas time:D

I got some very hard-to-come-by tickets to see Michael Buble (I don't even want to consider what Master spent). He got a new camera and a toss from a moving airplane (He enjoys these things- what can I say?).
 
The ums are all sharing in an Xbox360 (they actually have had it for a few weeks as they get hannukah presents). The oldest is leaving to Phoenix with his Marching band tomorrow to march in the Fiesta Bowl (if you don't think that counts as a gift, you have never funded a 7 day school trip!) and the two younger and I are going on a two night cruise to the Bahamas on Friday- just the three of us.
 
It's been a difficult year for the ums (their dad passed in May) so we're very lucky and blessed to be having such a wonderful holiday season.

We don't exchange gifts on Christmas.

Instead, we simply bask in the knowledge that we are together, healthy, and happy.  It's all that is needed.

thanks for all the well wishes, the "kittens" are improving.  our christmas wasn't very big and expensive, with me out of work it wasn't like previous years.  but i believe i got the best gift i could have asked for; to still be alive after all the health problems i've had this year, to still have a leg after the amputations i needed and to have my family with me.  gotta know what really matters in life and i got a refresher course this year.  enjoy the day!

Today's bounty was a DVD boxset (Blade Runner Final Cut, in the nice metal tin) from my ex-gf/housemate (with collaboration from my petal) and a book of cartoons from a work colleague. Was nice :)

Second Christmas is in January when I have some holiday time to see my parents :) I may get some new shinies then.
