Not sure what your point was supposed to be there, Alum.  Are you suggesting that body armor makes the cops immortal?  Provides absolute protection against a lucky headshot?  That LE should simply kick doors in with no attempt at negotiation?  That you can use Google to find neat pictures?

My question is, if you're looking for a man why did you need to dump all her laundry out, do you believe he could of shrunk down and is now hiding in her panties?

Being an ex-fiancee of an NYPD crime team cop and close friend to a number of guys who serve on SRT teams here in the Philadelphia area, please don't believe all you see in this little clip as the one and only truth.

Countless times, folks have a trainwreck of a place when an entry team goes in and the mess they make in "tossing the place" looking for the perp is nothing compared to the mess it was beforehand.

The simple fact that they get this 2-days home from a warzone guy on the video claiming the cops were "enjoying it too much" with no substantiation leads me to believe that this slanted story is sensational yellow journalism at its finest.  So how exactly were they enjoying it?  Were they sitting in the parking lot in beach chairs with cigars and beer?  Were they giggling like school girls and cracking jokes?  Were they whooping it up and selling tickets to the event in the parking lot?  Most people, even the ones who volunteer to take on the job of encasing themselves in kevlar every day to take out your town's garbage, aren't exactly thrilled in the face of having to enter some unknown property chasing some unknown mutt who is reportedly armed and who likely wants to shoot your ass.  Can't say I get much enjoyment out of that thought myself.

It's a terrible shame that they've not done something to rectify the rehab to the place as result of the entry, both the glass and the CS.  (CS sucks when they bring it home in their uniforms and you can't get it out of your washer too.)  Beyond that, I can't say that I'm 101% buying the story concerning the conditions of her place before the PD arrived.  The things that are upright and in place look like a pigsty, so there's little to make me believe that the areas they flipped over weren't legitimate places (read: piles of shit stacked high) where some mook could hide.

Since when has not being sure ever stopped you from pretending to know what you were talking about?

Wrong on all counts... but don't let that slow you down, keep making up more completely off base questions while ignoring the obvious.

Oh my god.  How awful.  That hits so close to home, considering where I live and recent police activity in our town.  It's so easy to say, "It's someone else.  It couldn't happen to me."  I've often fallen into that same trap.  As a mother of a young son, living only a couple of hours away from this, it frightens me immensely.  It can happen to you.

Not very often, Alum.  In fact, I'm even making a pretty decent living doing precisely that.  [8|]

Now that we've established a few things you weren't trying to say by linking to pictures of handgun projectiles that didn't penetrate layered kevlar, perhaps you'd care to elaborate on what you failed to communicate?
