I thought...with the year almost being over and all...it'd be a nice time to write this...
Three months ago, my life was almost entirely different. I was on the absolute fringes of the lifestyle. I was busy doing a lot of nothing, aside from going to my classes and hanging out with my friends. Mostly life as its been for as long as I can remember. Not bad...just with something missing. I'd been studying on the lifestyle...goodness...since I was 14 or 15. Always wanting to learn more or *gasp* actually meet somebody in it. No experience at all, in any event.
When I finally did, I found the lifestyle itself was the least important part.
I met DiurnalVampire, my Owner, on Collarme at the beginning of October...a day after I joined the site. I wasn't really looking for anything aside from converstion, really. She and I talked on Yahoo and became very good friends. The next day, we decided to meet so I could keep her company in the park. It was on the walk that I started to get to know really know her as a person, and I liked what I saw a lot. I knew she'd make a great friend. Which was really all I thought I was looking for at the time.
By the end of the week...well...I was collared. It didn't take too much longer than that to realized I'd really fallen in love. Not because she was a Dominant, by any means...though that is how we first came in contact with one another... We'd never really made much mention of our lifestyle interests...we were never looking. I feel in love with her because she's one of the most caring, intelligent, and genuine people I've ever met. It's very natural to submit to somebody who has such warmth in her eyes all the time...even when a long day at work has made her so grumpy. She still has it when she's at her most sadistic, and so I'm never afraid.
Since then, she and I have grown even closer, becoming that disgustingly cute couple everybody hates. I've learned to compliment her to the best of my ability when it comes to my submission, and her dominance over me is always very loving and powerful.
We've found that are tastes are very similar in most things, aside from food...which I'm working on developing more healthy habits in... We can talk about nothing, do nothing, or just sit next to each other without saying a word and feel very comfortable. She's met my family, and they love her... I'll be meeting her family as soon as its possible, and I think they'll love me. Really... It just amazes me. I didn't think it was possible for somebody to make me so happy...and I really didn't know what I was missing until I found it...well...until she found me, anyways. We've experienced so much together, in such a very short time, and I think there's still a lifetime of moments for us to experience.
