ORIGINAL: belongtoyou i have begun training with a new dom. i"ve had no experience with watersports, but told Him i was open to the idea. i have since discovered that it makes me queasy when asked to drink my own urine. i infomed Him the first time that i couldn't handle more than a mere sip; but He wants me to become accostomed to it, and, of course i want to please Him, but can't figure out how to continue. my question is; how sanitary/ healthy is the consumption of urine? and other than time and practice, any suggestions as to how not to gag while drinking urine? ~Rain~ I agree with the others who've said that gulping is far easier than sipping. But in my case, unlike the OP, I've only drank nectar directly from the source and not my own. I'd recommend that you have at least some amount of food in your stomach (something with bread would be a good idea) to help absorb anything you might find unpleasant before you consume golden nectar, whether it be yours or your Dom/me's. This will reduce any kind of aftertaste from any belching you might experience later compared to drinking nectar on an empty stomach. As an FYI to those who do consume their Dom/me's nectar, I find it's much easier to swallow if I'm in an upright position as opposed to laying down. I can swallow it much faster and easier in that position. Like others, I also find this to be a very intimate and bonding experience with my Mistress. For me, it's not something for casual play, but instead, something only reserved for partners with whom I have a serious relationship. Mistress notes that I'm always far more submissive after drinking her nectar or receiving a golden shower than before we start that kind of play. An excellent source of information on urine therapy and it's history (it seems to have originated in India & Tibet), along with other knowlege related to it, such as the safety of it for consumption, is a book titled The Golden Fountain, The Complete Guide to Urine Therapy by Coen van der Kroon, Copyright 1996 (with several re-prints since then, mine is the Feb 2000 reprint), ISBN 0-9632091-5-9. The publisher is Wishland Publishing, Inc. PO Box 41504 Mesa, AZ 85274, 480-922-8511. As an FYI, my copy of the book came from Amazon. I don't know if it's still available from them or not. The book was originally published in Dutch Copyright 1993; later translated into English as the version listed above. I hope those who are interested in the subject will find it quite enlightening. Some of what it reports or recommends is also supported by various western medical research studies which are referenced in the book. - pixel Collared to Majik
