Ok not really but as someone whos always preferred ethanol for stingy after effects and cleaning post cutting scenes, I admit my ignorance of using acetic acid and salt. Can someone tell me what concentrations they use. vinager at 5% acetic acid is plenty Im sure but Ive also heard of using 28% photographic concentration....glacial acetic acid (100%) I know from lab has fumes that cant be handled without a ventilated fume hood.

any thoughts or info are welcome

Scroll down almost to the bottom, under "safety". There is a table of properties that tells you the irritant concentration as well as the corrosive concentration: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acetic_acid

Pay special attention to the part that says that burns can appear several HOURS after exposure. Meaning, if you drip it on your skin and it doesn't burn immediately, it doesn't mean it's safe.

Edited to add: and breathing certain concentrations can be FATAL.

Pickles make a very dry pussy. Pickles cause the secreation pours to dry up.

If you still want to go through with it, then make sure you have a stick or rod in the pickle that will keep it from breaking. You'll want a handle of some type to ensure you can always pull the entire thing out.

I use to work for an ER as a EMT. One night, we had a young lady that needed some assistance. At her party, after a few drinks, she decided to play with a pickle. During the actions of her fun, the pickle broke in half. Unable to remove it, she had to come to the ER to get the other half of the pickle removed.

I am simply aghast.

If you think men are poor at aftercare..........hug a fucking pickle, and try to inveigle a little feedback or soothing words. Well, Vlasic excepted (bread and butter recipe pickles only).

Thanks CalifChick --looks like vinager at 5% with a couple table spoons of salt should do the trick and photgraphic concentrations of acetic acid are too strong according to wiki.s chart...I was hoping to hear from someone who has actually used this method in practice...as for you other guys...read the orginal post before replying :-p thanks
