Is ice/cold compress the best aftercare for bruises from bound breasts that were flogged?  Anything else that is helpful?  The pain is good, but I sleep on my tummy.

I too sleep on my tummy....lol. Ice is the best first response for any bruising, then since you sleep on your tummy, a warm compress will help for sleeping. The best thing to use is to take a wash cloth, wet it and then put it into a baggie and nuke it in the microwave. You can then wrap a hand towel around the baggie and place on your breasts while you sleep. As it cools during sleep, it will also help the bruising. I do this with the bruising I get from my breasts being bound. I used to get hellacious migraines, and nuking a cloth in the  microwave helped with the pain from the migraines. This helps with any pain bruising also.

lol... I guess my "cure" wouldn't be on anyone's top ten list of helpful things to make the pain go away.

Cause I poke at things like bruises, hoping I can find a way to make the pain last longer than three days.

I'm strange like that.

Arnica is wonderful for bruises and muscle aches. They make little pellets and gels as well.
It's usually sold in places like Whole Foods and Trader Joes or your local herbal and natural remedy store.

I have both the pellets and the gel, it works that well.

Just stay away from aspirin as it can actually cause the bruises to last longer.  i increase my intake of vitamin C.  i prefer time-release vitamin C
