Why do we think we're superior than everyone else? Because we are.

Dom/mes who seem to think they are aboe one anotehr are the ones who really think they have something to prove. Most of the time, its the ones who are inexperienced or think that part of being dominant is to have a bitchy attitude all the time.

Personally, I hear that I am "far more realistic than they thought I would be" and I am honest, polite, and nice for the most part. If you piss me off, then yes, I will be VERY nasty. But you have to push me pretty hard for it.

At the end of the page they have the quote...

I really don't appreciate that shit (largely because I ain't a chic but....)...it ain't fair.

You got that whole "thang" going on...and frankly...even if I had a 12 inch dick....I still wouldn't have that "thang"....

(So....it ain't fair).

(Although....If I did have a 12 inch dick...).

(Which I don't...but...if I did)....

Um... okay, at first blush (please keep in mind I am offering a fast reply and have not yet read any other replies offered) I'd have to say you've mostly encountered inexperienced or else terribly insecure doms, who are compensating for their own (self-percieved) shortcomings. Yes, I identify myself as a switch, but I have known full-time dominati who are not so full of themselves, and the ones who are - out of scene, that is - are generally lacking in experience. Many are little better than playground bullies who have discovered thatr under the guise of "domination" they can be the piggish assholes they truly are. I suppose this could be stated more tactfully, but I have taken a break from the evening's festivities, and am not wholly in my correct and sober frame of mind.

I don't want to nitpick, but it's an interesting fact, I think, that it was actually Teri Hatcher (!) as a guest star on the show who said it to Jerry as she walked out the door.  One of the best exit lines ever!

Doesn't Teri say "by the way...they are real and they are spectacular' on the way out?

It seems that many Dom's would be Dom's for a reason, no? Such individuals are likely more prone to ego.

Yes, yes, I hear all of this "enlighted" "twue" stuff about the spiritual Dom of Domlyness is actually humble and such. Still, for someone who's being honest? Yeah, a Dom probably has an ego. If their ego effects you in such a way that it just doesn't work for you, just avoid 'em or something. No sense in trying to control them.

But, if you want to, you can spank them and humilate them by convincing them to be your sub. ;)

If all the doms you know are doing this, then you need better screening skills. You're picking them, start challenging them in the early talking stage and see their response. If they get all pissy, tell them you aren't going to talk to them again.

I think it comes from insecurity. A person who knows their own value and worth won't be sent into a tizzy when challenged.

Hey Red! I like your new avatar...you're a cutie!

Me too Red, and after seeing your hair I'm convinced that the cherry or strawberry jello will go just fine.

LOL. Well maybe, but I thought the lime would have made a better contrast!

So I should get used to the fact of being called a worthless **** because I decline someone's advances in a neutral way. Some people cannot handle the truth.

Let's ignore the fact that the one's filling peoples boxes with stupidity and arrogance makes it hard for both sides to meet people in any manner, which is kinda the point to this place last I checked
