Just been cleaning out an old hard disk and going through some of my translations from when I was living in Poland.

I came across one I did for the local authorities in Warsaw in 2003. Here's part of it.

CAPITAL CITY OF WARSAW MUNICIPAL COUNCIL.

ANTI TERRORIST ADVICE FOR CITIZENS AND ALIENS (I think they were expecting Martians, but who knows?)

1. Terrorists can be very dangerous people. They can kill people. they kill people by carrying bombs.

2. If you see someone acting differently they might be a terrorist. If you are suspicious of the person acting differently you must immediately contact the police or authorities.

3. Look at people who are carrying things, especially if the things they are carrying look like a bomb. Contact the police on 997.

4. If you see a bomb remember the bomb can also see you. You must contact the police immediately on 997.

5. Bombs explode and these explosions can happen suddenly without warning. You must act quickly. Call the police on 997 and they will know what to do.

6. If you are travelling on public transport on which a bomb has exploded or there has been a terrorist attack, do not panic. You must stay calm and exit the vehicle through the doors as you would normally. When you have exited the vehicle you must call the police immediately on 997.

REMEMBER, THE EXPLOSION FROM A BOMB IS USUALLY VERY SUDDEN AND CAN KILL YOU.

Or as Boston, Mass Mayor Thomas "Mumbles" Menino calls them, "suspicious bombs."

So... The lesson is: "Call 997 for the police"?

The other part of the lesson is she is a poor translator....

This kind of attitude is disgusting.

Most bombs after all, are peace loving and just trying to make a living and look after their bomblets - its only the problem few who decide to explode in the wrong place that are at issue.

To condemn all bombs is absolutely unwarranted.

problem number one, I don't think 997 would work here in the states, other than that, it looks rather straightforward.
