Dear Alternative Friends:

I've been invited to start posting on this message board--I've hardly had a minute since I've just moved cross country (to NJ) but here is my background 'herstory"!

I started out as a 'submissive' during marriage (I was shy and inhibited).
Entering the BDSM lifestyle was 'his' idea (along with 'swinging', piercing and tattooing--all of which were totally against his type )
I quickly found out I was having more fun than he was at the play parties.
All my life I had fantasies about vampires--not about being 'swept away' but domination fantasies over victims--some of them very dark.

As I yearned to be more in control I took more control and became a 'switch' with other partners.
I came to terms with my life and realized I couldn't go on with my ex. I had certainly 'outgrown' him. I separated and left for Georgia (we had moved to Texas from NJ) where I continued to do more experimenting in BDSM and switching with a willing roomate.
After two years I returned to Texas to finish my divorce and continue with BDSM with other partners.
And now I've returned to my home state--NJ as a Dom.

I found this wonderful site! (THe NJ 'singles' scene was just not for me) This may have not been the best time in my life to start a Collarme.com membership--I still have a truckload of stuff to unpack--but I have my priorities straight.

I am single and unattached now.
The only complication is--I came back to NJ at the request of my family. My Dad is ailing and since I'm 'available'--my brother lives near but has a family--I am now the caretaker. I am living at my Dad's house (I can't host play sessions here!).

I am never bored--life is too interesting and I'm having too much fun--but I am always looking past the horizon and this seems to be the next step. And I always accept challenges that come my way--I see them as growth opportunities.

Recently in NYC I've been to Paddles and that BDSM restaurant (!) hosted by Master Steelow (I know him from the vampire clubs).

Through my bio I've talked to some of the people on this board--all so interesting! I am excited about the possibilities, and about exploring new territority.

Greetings and Welcome...
I too have made the "Trek" from N.J., where I was born, to Texas... just not back! Living just outside of Houston now, although I've also lived in East Texas and SW Louisiana. Anyway, just wanted to say Hi.
It's great that You're taking care of Dad. My mother is 85 and lives around the corner from me and I take care of her, but thankfully she doesn't yet need full time live-in care.

Quite by chance I also found your postings on the message board. And I also welcome you to NJ. I believe you have received a few e mails from me and I continue to believe that there is some mutual interest that might be gained from furthing our contacts. I look forward to see you when you once again make the return trip from Texas to NJ.
