I was always funny about age, I had very specific guidlines untill I met my Sir, I am 30 he is 26. The reasons I had were mainly because I have 4 very young um's and anyone too much older I felt may not wish to raise them with me, and I was afraid someone younger may not cope.

Then I met Sir, my um's love him and he is amazing with them and as for he and I, he is my soul mate but it did make me realise that making judgements solely on age was probably not wise because you may well miss out on someone wonderful

Indeed there will be the normal "whatever works" inputs, but at core we all operate with a range that we consider appropriate.

For me I've owned 1 younger (26) slave and 2 older (as in twice my age older) subs, and age difference doesn't mean anything.  The most important things are Love, Honesty, and Trust.  With them, anything is possible, and amazing [;)]

Mine have run anywhere from 9-16 years younger than me, 9 years younger lasted 16 years, 16 years younger lasted 3

I created a post similar to this awhile ago and the many helpful posters on there definitely helped me to understand more and more that it just comes down to personal choice. Some will be flexible enough to venture outside of what they percieve to be acceptable age limits whereas others will adhere to those limits with a deathgrip. We all will be faced with this choice at some point or another....in my opinion, you just have to weigh the pros and cons based on that individual person.

As i have always stated people have a choice to do what is right or what is easy  you figure out  i am not here to rasie people in lifes simple answers if you do not pay attention to what the world teaches you about why relationships at certain ages work while others one do not  well that on you for not paying attention to lifes teacher

I feel that they physiocal attraction for younger people is based on our biology. Someone past the breeding age generally excites less instinctive lust-sex IS programmed as part of reproduction.

I think I've written enough on here about why I prefer older women that I shouldn't be misunderstood as saying that a woman has less value as she ages.

If you felt slighted by it, that wasn't the intention.

As so many others have said ... I just cant deal with a Submissive that might be in the age range that my sons might date.... there is something that just has an "ick factor" for me in that. 

I place a lower limit of 50 in my search range as I want someone that has shared life experiences. I want to be able to talk to them at times too.

I have made exceptions down to 45 but I will be 59 in a few days and find this works best for me.

I know that I probably miss out on some very good submissives .. but if they impress me and are interested enough to be persistant I will consider them .. they just usually are not ... so fall by the wayside anyway.
