Does anyone know where a list of "mainstream" BDSM movies can be found? i do NOT mean porn. i had the following site recommended to me, but i cannot see where they offer a list of movies.

Status: offline 		I dunno what you mean specifically by bdsm movies. Secretary, Exit to Eden and 9 and a half weeks spring to mind. But movies like Dodgeball and Mr and Mrs Smith both have scenes with blatant bdsm elements to them.

One movie that always pushed my buttons was Robin Hood Prince of Thieves with the attempted rape scene with Alan Rickman.

Thats just wrong.....

If its got some metaphor for bdsm please explain... ( to the people thinking im on my smoking gun campaign this is not part of it )

I notice two Gor Movies avalible for rent and the Story of O video series. Gor was located in the Sci Fi section and the Story of O in Adult Novelties. Rather than there being a BDSM section, such movies or moved in other areas for plot rather than having BDSM in them. Adult Novelty, Horror, Erotic, Sci Fi, Comedy, Westerns, Suspense, and such. After all, most movies that have BDSM in them are envolved around other plots and situations. Either that or it's porn tied with BDSM.

Don't watch the Gor films unless you are REALLY DRUNK - or into really bad 70s type bad movies - they are awful... urgh...lol
Story of O - yawn - bad film.

Tie me up, tie me down is so excellent a film - love it.

The Pillow Book is AMAZING(note the caps) I cannot stress how beautiful it is. Please watch this film - it is the most beautiful story of love, service and commitment ever.

I find BDSM links in Leon.

Dracula - if you have a vampire fetish - but then I get off on Gary Oldman...lol

Edward Scissorhands as BDSM links (IMO)

Constantine was cool but Stigmata was better ( I guess these would be for a religious movie thread though )

I think I can miss that one, I would not find that scene entertaining at all.
