Well if it was me you were proposing to scene with, I'd be way too busy kicking your ass for mistreating little living creatures to get much kinky enjoyment out of it.  I guess it could be a punishment scene that involved taking you out of your natural environment, shaking you around until you were stressed nearly to death and then crushing you in the bottom of a trash can under a mass of forty or fifty times your own bodyweight. 



did i miss the part of this thread where it got serious?  i got the impression that leather posted this as something fun and silly, with  no intentions of harming anyone or anything.  (and please don't take offense leather that i thought it was fun and silly hehe.)


Some people take everything far too literally-and have no sense of humor. It's why I never date librarians and insurance salespeople. Dull dull dull...

Status: offline 		Yeah, I was bitten by a brown recluse on my hand earlier in the year. NOT a fun time!!! I had the 'bullseye', the swelling, and significant (and not the fun happy kind) pain. Nope, spiders be a hard limit fer me. *lol*

Status: offline 		Spiders are mans friend, well most of them. They kill the blood sucking and annoying bugs. Most are good, except the one that lives somewhere around my house, bites people
and infects with a necropoison, makeing a huge seeping open wound that takes months to a year to heal(with antibiotic), that one, and the brown recluse that came after me.
luckily I killed him before he got me. But really I love spiders, I catch and release them when I get one in the house. Used to play with them when I was a child. My
favorite super-hero, Spider-Man of course! If my sub left that spider jar anywhere I would see it, had a spider jar at all, I would release the spiders outside, provided they
weren't poisonous, and severely punish my sub!

Maybe I'm humor impaired, but I just can't see much that is terribly amusing about abusing little living creatures for fun.  It's possible that you don't actually scene that way and you're just joking, but I've seen too much of it to be sure of that.

Status: offline 		I would be fine with a contain spider, though a free one near me creeps me out big time

if someone had arachnophobia I would even think of doing it if I where you, they would either get severely injured thrashing around or you would,  I have worked with a couple dogs with severe phobias and when they panic look out, I have had my share of bloody nose black eye bruises and claw marks  while they are full body harness and collar band together trying to hang on them and settle them down, until what ever is scaring them is gone from view they are totally unreceptive to  voice, pain  or anything else other than the object of their fear and wanting to get away as far as possible and when the adrelin kicks in the strength they have is unbelievable

If you can have your fantasies, then I can have mine.  Mine quite often involve educating people who don't do much thinking about the consequences of their behavior on the natural world.  Yours apparently involve bugs.

Status: offline 		I know what you mean, I got bit by a brown recluse (fiddle back) spider once. It fell from the rafters of an old barn and wnt down the front of my shirt collar. when it stopped at my waist, I pulled out my belt and shook my leg so that it fell into my boot where I stompped and crushed it. Only problem, it bit me near the groin on the way down...kind of funny now.... I didn't feel the bite at the time but it quickly swelled to enormous proportions and a surgeon friend of mine cut the poisoned area out and put me on antibiotics. Fortunatly it healed but I know people who have gotten osteomyolitis (bone infection) from a bite and it never completly heals.
Needless to say, I don't care much for spiders. Best spider is a dead spider.

Pshaw.  I hear all kinds of stories about "aggressive" wildlife, but when I work with the same species, what I observe is behavior that is fundamentally evasive or defensive or that has nothing to do with people at all.  It just gets interpreted as "aggressive" by people who don't understand animal behavior and have no direct experience working with the organisms, whatever they are.  If it is aiming to run past you seeking a hiding space, of course it is "aggressive" and seeking to attack, as far as a frightened person is concerned. 

Loxosceles reclusa can be skittery and quick, but spider enthusiasts handle them without much difficulty.  I don't really recommend doing this, but it's not difficult and the spiders are not interested in biting unless accidentally provoked (eg, sat on or squished).

For someone who considers herself an educator-you entirely fail to think before going off sometimes. How the hell would I get hold of an entire trash can full of bugs?

You are not showing very choherent thought processes.

As in, the ability to tell when someone is serious-and they are joking.

Status: offline 		I don't have to know whether a spider is actually aggressive or just trying to go to his home.  All I have to know is that he is coming at me.  That's where any possibility of spiders having self awareness goes straight out the door.  The little sucker is getting stomped. 

So I'm a bad spider person.  My one (and I swear, ONE) bad trait.  That's it.  My one.  No more.  I didn't even kill the scorpion that stung me.  That hurt like no tomorrow.  But I didn't kill him.

(note...while i understand that playing in traffic is definitely dangerous and should be thought seriously about before doing, no spiders or bugs or other life forms were harmed in the process.)

Actually Naja is quite entertaining company - simply passionate about animals. Considering how many people don't think about insects in that manner, it's a interesting change of pace and a nice reminder that these are living creatures.

Course, I'm still scared to death of them.
