This is less of an issue here on collarme than at some other sites - but I like the community better here so I'm posting the question here...

Why are so many males drawn to sending in photos of their crotches, just plain old crotches? I can understand if it was decorated in bondage, or peeking out from a frilly skirt - but what do you feel stands out so much about your dick?

It must be something about the way the wind blows every once in awhile that brings this subject up so all at once all over the boards!!! Iwill started a thread about Dominance that moved to a conversation about vaginas rather quickly, and I've seen several threads about penises, with pictures, and at least one fanny. Not sure how that wiggled in there. [;)] I suppose the bottom line, regarding the "crotch shots" in the profiles would be, that whether the viewer's reaction is good or bad...it gets their attention. I believe that's the point.

I posted before that a picture of a rampant male member would be a lot more informative if it was held up to something like a pack of TicTacs. That way people
would know if it was Andre the Giant's or MiniMe's schlong.

I think many males mistakenly think that women respond visually the same way men do. A man can get turned on by seeing an anonymous female breast, but women usually need to see the whole person. And yes there are exceptions, but in general this is true.

I think women just want more. I'd rather see the whole naked man and imagine devious things to do with him than just his cock. Men tend to focus on boobs and pussy when having sex too. Women (me anyway) tend to enjoy exploring the whole body.

I dont find an isolated breast shot, or a picture of somebody mooning the camera, that attractive. I prefer to see the whole body, and her eyes make me melt. On the other hand, there are isolated areas on the body I like to see; I find the section of skin between the labia and the upper thigh, even wearing a bikini, to get Mr. Tiny to stand to attention.

The more I read the more I realize I must have missed the Maleness 101 download from the Matrix.

I prefer a g-rated photo as a first photo, and I can tell a lot about a person from that. I do enjoy exploring the whole body, but in my own sweet time. In the meantime I enjoy exploring the mind.

i really think they're just mistaken and believe that we like random dick shots as much as they like random tits-n-ass shots.

And only two posts in all that time. But what really puts my balls in the deep fryer is that momentary elation I feel when I think "Hey! Look! Sinergy is back!" Followed of course by that "oh... wait..." moment of dejection.

I hereby renew my suggestion to the powers that be that all threads that have been inactive for a certain time (say, three months) be tagged with a symbol (like a ghost rising from the grave perhaps) to indicate a resurected thread.

ETA: and once there was a very creepy moment when I thought a poster who had recently passed away was posting again!
