im having shoulder fusio surgury at the end of january... any one have any advice?

I about to have the same thing done to my ankle.I had a shoulder joint replacement 5 years ago and still having problem with it...make sure you surgeon is competent and up on this procure..

If you have follow-up physical therapy, be meticulous in doing the at-home exercises.

Do your physical therapy or you will lose range of motion. frozen shoulder- develps an adhesive capsule from scar tissue and lack of use. The old adage use it, or lose it, is really true.

(I am a Massage therapy Instuctor and have worked with chiropractors and physical therapists with shoulder injuries.)

sady my shoulder will be fused which is worse than frozen shoulder.... the pt i already knowabout having dislocated every joint in my body at one point or another and fractured my spine. im mostly worried about the pain and how the hell am i gonna sleep with a cast and brace on for 3 months im already an insomniac.... plus the genetic disorer i have causes alot of bleeding problems and anesthsia problems......sigh
