Sighs, I try not to nit pick over grammar, but get to the gist of what is being expressed. So I am going to ignore the "editing fetish" parts of this, and just address the origional poster. I feel that focusing on such things only demeans the one doing it. It always comes across to me as petty ,and small minded. Not to mention a bit obsessive. That having been said........ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Welcome to the boards,Draxxe! Yes, I do see many "masters" with attitude and ego problems, and perhaps if they had begun on the bottom thier ego control would have been more realistic and controlled. And do we not value a Master's ability to excercise self control? But not everyone can do it the og way, or sees a need to. For myself, I tried subbing breifly about ten years ago. I simply couldn't deal with it, it pissed me off no end. It went totally against the grain of my core instincts. Yet it was still a valuable learning experience about how subs can feel, and what strength it takes to go there. One I will not forget. Pardoxically it made my views on submission both more compassionate, and in some ways harsher and more strict. I listen to concerns, and don't take needs for granted. But I also don't tolerate a lot of excuses for screwing up,and the buck stays stuck.. NO ONE gets to pass it under my roof-me included.
