::Sigh:: I wish. Even my branding scar has faded to near illegibility. Some people are more prone to scarring than others. Yes, if you've been beaten to the point of bleeding, it is quite possible to come away with scars, either temporary or permanent. Usually, such scars will fade in a year or two. If you want the scars to remain visible, the area needs to get a serious workout while still on the mend - have the dominant paddle the injured area regularly to help build up keloid tissue. If you're really that big on scars, though, just get cut and use one of the normal (and safer) methods of enhancing the scar. If you want the scars to fade or are worried about attracting unwanted attention, vitamin E, aloe vera, and skin moisturizer will help the scars to fade quickly and without very much fuss.
