I usually go for the throat, though its usually the back left side. I know artery locations and stay clear of them. Drinking anothers blood is one of the most erotic things I think I could ever do. My first Dom considered himself a Vampyer. The play was one of the most erotic that i have ever experienced, cuts were done with knives and naturally safety issues were considered prior, such as cleanliness of not only the equiptment, but also of the people exchanging fluids. Its rather difficult finding Vampyers within the BDSM community, well in the UK anyway.... which is a shame and it does make one think about branching out into the Vampyer community to actively become a doner...

I would start in the Goth scene, which will lead you to vampyres, and finally to bdsm again propably

I know this thread has gone on a bit, but I'm still going to throw my opinion into the ring.

From a dominant standpoint, I've always been curious about this. It's something I would like to try if my partner would agree to it. From a submissive standpoint, I've done it and I love it. The idea of vampires and vampirism has always had a powerful effect on me, for as long as I can remember. I was quite young when I experienced it the first time, with my first boyfriend, actually. I was a bit scared by it at the time, but now I crave at least the roleplay, even if I can't get the actual thing. (And no, I don't mean roleplay as in Vampire: The Masquerade, though I've been known to LARP it on occasion.) *grin*

LOL. Our group isn't that cool. Most of them don't dress up. Of course, most of them are biochemistry majors, too. No time for costumery, I suppose. I used to dress up, until I realized that only the girls playing Toreadors who weren't actually interested in the game so much as looking cute were the only ones dressing up. Ah well. If I had more time I'd probably still play, but I already devote a night a week to Arkham Horror, and that's about all I've got.

It, to me at least, is the absolutely most compleat way to really dominate someone. When a sub is willing to give you the gift of their life, it is the ultimate gift and sign of thier submission. I am a vampire, both sang and psy (thus technically a hybrid). However, a sang feeding will "hold me over" longer than a psy one will and is much, much more satisfying, especially when I can get enough. While I am a blood fetishist, too, the need for blood and energy is not a fetish for me, but a part of my life.
