I tried to send a message/email to another member last night and kept getting "Page cannot be displayed" Server Unavailable instead of "message sent" so I kept page backing and tried to resend, same results again and again, finally checked my "sent messages" folder to find it had actually gone through like 8 times, so I "unsend" all the duplicates.  Any ideas??? Anyone else had this issue?

I haven't had your specific issue come up (yet), but I have had more problems logging in to CM and also checking my e-mail than ever before. I don't know if it's due to the recent upgrades that they've implemented, but it's a bit annoying.

i can't get email to load easily anymore, that's for sure.  And yes, random problems when sending.  It hiccups and then either does or does not send.  i am also getting multiple copies of emails from others who must be experiencing the same issues.

After a year on here, I fear I may have lost the only one I have found, that I felt a connection with, she assumed I was upset with her because I "unsent" all of the duplicates, and blocked me, without giving me opportunity to explain, that she has never upset me.  Had I done something wrong, I could accept that, but a technical issue, being misunderstood?  I feel robbed!  It's nice to know I'm not the only one this has happened to.

Since I'm not sure if you'd get this if I sent it on the other side..

If you'd like, I'd be happy to pass this lucky lady a note explaining your situation (you can write something and I'll forward it for you, if desired). If you'd like to try it, you could message me on the other side with her name and whatever you'd like said.  If that doesn't go through, you could post it here, though that may impose a bit further of a limit on what you'd be comfortable with saying.  (Plus you're not actually supposed to give any names, but I think the mods might allow it to slide long enough to serve the purpose in light of the glitch, if that method should become necessary.)

Administration came in on another thread last week and said they were trying to put yet another server online shortly(I think thats 2 in the last month!) to handle the influx of new users.  They said on that thread hopefully that would solve the problem.

Let's see.  YOu thought she was the right person for you.  Yet, she punishes you for being upset with her by blocking you?
What happens the next time you do something wrong?  Does she dump you again?
I think you need to let it go...apparently she didn't feel the same way about you.

Also yes, we've all had problems at one time or another.  I doubt there is any time at all that nobody had issues.  Just something you have to deal with..its a free site.  You get what you pay for.

I agree, I'm not here to whine about the possability of love lost, nor to seek a fix to this, it could have been many other factors, such as the possability she is still involved with her estranged ex, or maybe she had an issue with what I do for a living, Hell, coulda been I drive a Chevy, and she prefers Fords!  I also agree with you on what if we had started something, would she have been gone at the first "bump in the road"  Whatever it may have been, my point on this thread was to see if anyone else had experienced the e-mail issue's I experienced, and it's obvious that I wasn't the only one.

It would be wicked awesome if they'd just download the text with placeholders for the avatars, so we could at least read the posts.  The site seems to choke when displaying avatars.

If they flew off the handle and blocked you for something so miniscule as deleteing a bunch of messages, then imagain what they'd do for really big" offenses"

Here we go again, today with one click to send a message, I had one that sent 3 times, and one that sent 6 times.

They must still be working on it, then. I tried to send a reply to a member this morning, and got nothing but "Reply Not Sent." Is this site going to go belly up like Bondage.com did?

The server upgrades put online a few days ago have been allowing the site to handle the load of all the new users without crashing.  However, this has increased the load on the internal messaging system and thus the "message not sent" errors.  We hope to have a fix in place within the next few days.  There is a weakest link in any chain and when you strengthen the current weakest link, you create a new one.  This is the price to be paid for having so many new friends to talk to.

I do appreciate it, don't get me wrong, and please don't take the bitchin personally, (hell, people even bitch about the one's we love!) I'm happy to have CM available, (and even free!!) I really appreciate the new feature of "message history" in the mail area, it' really makes it easier to keep track of things.  CM works! and it's great, a few bugs are to be expected!  Once again...Thank you for the site, and your efforts!
