I bought my Daddy the type of Valentine's Day card a little girl would buy for her father. It was intentionally childish, and it said "Happy Valentine's Day, Daddy" On the front... with Xs and Os inside...

It seemed fitting for us.

It doesn't seem to me like you've offered up any insight to his relationship with you or his personality to recieve many "good" suggestions.

So on that note maybe just something classic with a personal+sexy twist.... chocolate with a naughty picture of you slipped into the package between chocolate and lid w/ an invitation to eat it off your willing, naked flesh?

I'm making my Master a pair of rope floggers for valentines day, one thats nice and soft and sensual and one that has knots so that it hurts a little.

my dom/partner (we're still working out what exactly to refer to him as outside of our shared social circle) and i are both rather aggrevated at the whole idea of valentines day but i dont' really want to blow it off either. i think i'm gonna go the route of doing little things that i think will at least make him sort of happy. tomorrow i'm gonna bring him oranges at work. beyond that i don't have it figured out yet.

I don't have any real ideas because as it was mentioned before, there weren't enough details to get a handle on what you are to each other (aside from the Daddy part), how long you've been together etc. but Nikolette's suggestion seemed a good one and also, very nice on juliaoceana.  Your gift was cool and sweet.

edited to add something so I wouldn't look stupid...although it's possible that may happen anyway.  Oh well...

For our first i got Master a card.     I would have given him "something else"  but i was only 7 days out of surgery so was not up for much. Man do i love him.

I have to think of a Valentine's gift now-- but but but-- I just bought Christmas presents.

As a DOM myself, men don't really relate much to cards and the little things women find special. We like things that capture our attention. I personally think you can't go wrong to offer up yourself in a way that he has been wanting and maybe push your limits.

I do however like Nikolette's suggestion.

Thanks so much for your input everyone. I probably should have mentioned that we are only just starting out. He is VERY romantic though... So I know that Valentines Day will be special to him and that why im kind of freaking out about it.

I think I may go with what Subwanted suggested and a card of course. Thanks again all!

I agree with subwantedo8,

Here's an idea that would be fun for both you and him. Think of 10 ways you can service him. Thing that he may not get everyday or things you wish to do and write them on a small piece of paper. Go to the dollar store to the party/baby/wedding shower items and you should be able to find mini container to stuff each piece of paper in. They must all look alike so that once the paper is inside you will no longer be able to tell what the service is. Since he is a man place all or one container where he can find it, ie.. In driver seat, on top of his computer, on top of the remote control….lol

The more created you are with the 10 services the more fun you and him will have. Do as least one thing that he would have never believe he could get you to do. This dose not all  have to be sexual services. You know him better than we do. This could last up to ten day. Just have fun with it. This will put a big smile on his face. He will look at this day in a whole need light.

I think, unless there's something specific of a sexual nature you know he'd want (red satin cuffs, new riding crop, etc.) I'd go vanilla on the gift/card.

i am not sure about Valentine's Day, i feel that it's a Vanilla Holiday .. one specifically designed to cajole people into proving their Lurve via mass-produced cards and Godiva confectionery ... but if Master and i were to mark this day, i'd show my love by cooking his favorite dinner and serving him in whatever attire he wished me to wear. i could not cook naked as my wok spits fat ;-) (and not in a good way!)

However! .. this is a day worth celebrating!  Steak and BJ Day

Ooooooooo.... I love Valentine's Day - it's the one day that is about the relationships we create and not the ones we are born into.  That makes them especially precious.  You pick your friends, but not your family, kind of stuff.

If he's really romantic... I'd get a pack of the little cards you used to give kids in school (you can get them at the dollar store), and write things on them and put them in a book with photos and ticket stubs or whatever else is appropriate to your relationship.  It shows that you value the time together and that you also think of him and work on pleasing him when he is not around. 

Or you could do something similar with a dozen balloons.  Write on them *not with an inkpen - use a sharpie - and have them floating free in the bedroom or living room when he gets home.  It can be a really wonderful way to walk into a room provided the room is small enough.

I've always thought it sad that it was felt neccessary to create 2 holiday/year designed specifically to show someone close how much you love them.  I don't need no stinkin' holiday to do that, I do it as often as I can.

Hallmark (and other card companies) have a good select of Daddy cards (not the UM type either).  last year, i sent Him a fruit bouquet of His favorite fruit - strawberries to His office and a card.

this year, He's getting a rare vinyl record of His favorite jazz or samba musician, more strawberries and a card

i'm planning on cooking and serving my Master a gourmet meal... i just haven't decided whether to do so naked or in something naughty and fetching...
