- pixel You give really sound advice, and i do appreciate you, and all that have taken the time to speak with me, feels like a family ! VA funding is discretionary spending each year the Senate, Congress have to approve budgets, and then pass them. You are aware if the houses are controlled by one party that is how policies go, if they Are split 50/50 little gets done. EMDR has been around for some time, but finding a clinician, therapist, Dr who is licensed to practice it is not easy in VA. If I was to go like to Bat Pine I am sure it would be common. With the newest wounds coming back from Middle E. Traumatic Brain Injuries, PTSD Funding is turning due to all the negative news that has broken, such as Walter Reed. On our group sites, men – women have literal horror stories of lack of care, treatment. With this newest story of Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach USMC. She was the Marine that was raped, then murdered right before she testified. There is flak starting to raise over this now there is actions being taken. It literally sucks this is what it takes to get the attention of those passing laws ect.. I wrote the letter that went to the Senate Veterans Committee concerning this. I am still very angry, outraged is more accurate over this. Sorry I got carried away. Veterans issues are a passion of mine. Jim
