ok i don't know if this is the right spot for this but i will post it here anyway since it seems right.  my Master has asked that i try to stimulate lactation, i am not pregnant, for him.  i went yesturday and bought a breast pump, dual one, from walmart and have some questions for those whom have done this.  i am going the pump way because meds is not a path i can take.  so if you can help me out and answer a few questions it would be good.  i will give some info on the pump to

pump:

dual pump
can increase suction per side
a tube connects the two sides
it can be battery operated or can be plugged in

questions

should i start out using the lowest suction when starting out? cause i have batteries in it now and the suction doesn't seem to be strong at all

is there a time limit i should adhere to?  cause i have heard 20 mins 5 times a week.

any other advice would be very much welcomed,  thanks.

I don't have a lot of great advice here.
However, I have some hypothesees.
Lacatation occurs as a result of the natural resonse to "nurture."
It is triggered by childbirth.  And, in "adoptive" wildlife as a result of the desire to "nurture."
I would only "suggest" that as you use the pump on one breast, someone you love, your Master for instance, suckle the other breast.  Are you getting my drift?  Trigger the DNA of nurturement, psychologically, as well as physically.
If the pump doesn't feel strong enough, step it up.
I know that when I breast fed my daughter there was a "definate" intense, physical sensation.  Alsmot as if somone were nibbling on my nipple.
However, the love I felt when looking at her on my breast was also very powerful.
I have heard of "forced" lactation being successful, although I, personally, have never tried it.
Just my ideas.
I would be interested in hearing from those who might have been successful at this, as well.

La Leche League USA

Honestly, I had a pretty major league breast pump and I never got as much milk by pumping as my um's or husband could get while latching on themselves . I still lactated somewhat for 5 years after my last um was born.  My husband was pretty sad when I stopped..lol...
Have your Master latch right on  for a while each day as a supplement to pumping.
Look at illustrations of mouth placement, tongue placement, jaw movement, etc...

unfortunatly Him 'nursing' as it is isn't an option as we don't live together and live far apart.

SlaveOwnerWI -> RE: lactation (1/20/2008 4:26:56 AM)

I've also attempted this when I went thru my AB stage ... it isn't easy and is extremely time consuming.  The pump itself is unlikely to have the results you are hoping for, as there is more to stimulation that just suction.  Do not underestimate the time commitment to this, your time frame is way off ... you are looking at twenty minutes per breast every four hours.  Do a search on adoptive breastfeeding, should give you more information on the subject.

If you live that far apart and don't see each other with some frequency, why are you attempting to do this in this first place?
How are you going to enjoy it if you were to be successful at inducing it?

PanthersMom -> RE: lactation (1/20/2008 8:25:07 AM)

why on earth would you put yourself thru this for someone who isn't even there to enjoy it?  you're setting yourself up for failure if he's not there to help.  most people will tell you the best methods for inducing lactation include actual nursing itself, not just a breast pump and wishful thinking.

I have done forced lactaion, but not with a pump...

Its probably not much different but...can`t be as much fun <g>

Read some of the sites these folks have posted.

Pump 3 times a day, minimum....massage your breasts frequently...in the shower etc...

Don`t GET discouraged...it can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks...

Gonna let Brown deliever overnight? <g> Couldn`t help that one...

PrincessEllie -> RE: lactation (1/28/2008 1:37:16 PM)

I might know an alternative to pumping, or, at least, something that would make it easier. The hormone that causes lactation is prolactin, a hormone that is made in the pituitary gland. If you have a higher level of prolactin, it would make lactation much more likely. Unfortunatly, it also suppresses estrogen and makes you unlikely to be pregnant or have regular periods while your levels are high. I think they make medication that would raise the levels of prolactin in the body, if you wanted to try that route.

sub4hire -> RE: lactation (1/29/2008 9:10:33 AM)

I have no idea about your pump and how well it will work.
I can tell you that we play with a cupping set.  A few times a day you play with the cups on your nipples, male or female you will produce milk.  I have..and to test it further my dom has.  When we realized what we had done.
No hormones needed.  Problem is once you start producing milk..milk leaks.  Which may or may not be an issue for some.  It was for me with my career.

Anyway it worked for us..we were just playing a few times a day each day.  No idea about the strength of the pump.  I'd do whatever feels ok to you.

deliciousmorsel -> RE: lactation (2/4/2008 1:03:31 AM)

I looked into this, as I've never had children but the idea of lactating for a grown man turns me on, and I was talking with a lactation fetishist. This is absolutly a waste of an awfully big amount of time if he isn't there. Pumping is not a thrill. Having your nipples sicked and bitten 5 times a day is. Once lactation starts, and it can just by lots of simulated nursing, then you need to be on a schedule of feeding to keep you from being in pain and needing to pump, and to make it worth while. It isn't worth the effort if he isn't going to suckle often. Like at least three times a day.
Being a milker is very high maintenance, worse than being a peroxide blonde. Anybody who would ask you to do this and doesn't already have a real life right there relationship with you should be reveiwed. If this is a cyber thing- just be a cyber milker. But doing this for somebody who's off somewhere? That's no commitment, and you aren't going to get one by doing this. It's a game some people play to jerk women around.

So... what exactly is the point of this whole exercise then?

SubMagda -> RE: lactation (2/8/2008 9:08:38 PM)

I have very large breast and have a nursing fetish. I induced lactation about a year ago using a breast pump and a drug that increases prolactin. It was sucessful, but production was not that great because i had no one to nurse. It's a big turn on for me but i haven't found anyone genuine in my area that wants to nurse. I stopped for a while and just started up again. Maybe I'll be sucessful this time around!

WaratahBlossoms -> RE: lactation (2/9/2008 11:32:41 AM)

Fenugreek. I used it for a little bit while I was nursing my daughter. It's wonderful but makes you smell like sweet yeast when you sweat, etc.

That and taking BC pills for however long will help.
