Well, there has already been confirmation of E's geodetic effect, but what we are waiting on is the frame-dragging effect.  And that will not likely come about for several more years even after the Stanford gives the final analysis this month.

The Person Beneath Me. . .

You know where the phrase "Stop the Insanity" comes from.

Other than Susan Powter's annoying infomercial stint in the '90s, I haven't a clue.

The Person Beneath Me... watches infomercials and even looks for specific programs.

MissMagnolia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/14/2007 4:07:34 PM)

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!! Thats the sickest thing I've ever seen you say sapps.[:D]

tpbm has read all of the Anne Rice books.

KMsAngel -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/14/2007 4:25:32 PM)

not all of them, but a fair amount. just discovered two i hadn't read before. reading the afterword on her Jesus one was fascinating, love knowing the story behind books.

tpbm reads at least a book a week.

oreogirl -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/14/2007 5:32:53 PM)

More like 3!

TPBM has bought Season 2 of some TV series.

acissej -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/14/2007 6:28:42 PM)

False.

TPBM owns more videotapes than DVDs.

Greylynn -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/14/2007 8:58:57 PM)

Not sure on that one....have loads of videos collecting dust in the garage so they may out number the DVD's.....

TPBM pays for a gym membership and actually uses it.

acissej -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 6:06:16 AM)

False.  I don't pay for a gym membership at all.

TPBM prefers red wine to white.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 6:48:15 AM)

False.  I prefer white wine to red.

TPBM prefers wine to beer.

RazorJAK -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 7:16:31 AM)

Even if the racking chemicals in most commercial wines didn't give me migraines,  I'd still prefer beer.

The person beneath me has never had a double chocolate, double coffee oatmeal stout.

KMsAngel -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 7:22:53 AM)

very true. is it good?

the pbm has never made their own mead.

Aylee -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 7:32:49 AM)

True, but I have made my own beer.

The Person Beneath Me. . .

Puts in a little something extra in their coffee occasionally.  (I think that Bounty called it High Test)

RazorJAK -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 7:33:44 AM)

HAHAHAHAH ... very false

I've a batch of malomel aging now.  I've two varieties bottled and aging now ( cherry and a pumpkin spice ).

The drinkable ones I have at the moment are a traditional mead from blended local honey and two bottles remaining of a strawberry mead which didn't turn out as nice as some I've done in the past.  But for some godawful reason,  my local friends like it.

Indeed,  a nice lil rummed up coffee is a beautiful thing on a cold michigan morning.

The PBM envies my home bar.

Aylee -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 7:37:26 AM)

Of course I do.

The Person Beneath Me. . .

sappatoti -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 10:46:57 AM)

No.

The Person Beneath Me... has distilled their own spirits.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 1:00:32 PM)

False.

TPBM rarely drinks alcohol.

Raechard -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 1:37:06 PM)

True alcohol isn’t my drug of choice, I’ve not drank alcohol since 1998 intentionally.

The person beneath me doesn’t get nearly as much sleep as they should?

sappatoti -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (12/15/2007 5:40:26 PM)

True.

The Person Beneath Me... thinks that sleep is overrated.
