I have no fetish wear...and am nervous about ordering some online, because I have no idea how things will fit. I'm short 5'1" and very muscular...so I have curvy legs and a strong back. I also want to feel things and see them in person so I know what I'm looking for and what might look good on me. Does anybody know any shops in Michigan where I may look. I live on the west side of the state, but I'm not afraid to travel. Thanks so much...I'm particularly interested in finding something in leather or PVC. t

there is a place in royal oak MI (in oakland coutny) that is amazing, they have a full shop and it's been there since the 70's. It's called "Noir Leather" they have all sorts of things. I know that's pretty far but it's the best one in michigan i'm told, and they also partner with some detroit nightclubs and sponser events

I've been there a few times. In all probability it has something similiar to what you are looking for.

I'd agree that Noir is decent, but mostly for browsing on an evening out with friends, kind of overpriced. Taboo Tabou in Chicago is more fun and has a great sale rack. Don't be afraid of ordering from someone like Northbound Leather in Toronto, I haven't dealt with them, but they have a good reputation. I had a very good experience ordering from www.thedarkangel.co.uk - they took my measurements, sent me swatches, and their customer service was great. Another option for PVC is getting liquid latex and painting it onto your body to make custom clothing... also could make for a fun party!
