And why?

batshalom -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 7:50:46 AM)

Whoever started the Lack of Personal Responsibility / Frivilous Lawsuit trend. ~chuckle~

pahunkboy -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 7:53:24 AM)

pahunkboy -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 7:58:11 AM)

My poor mother.  Im a big boy- but for her to be subjected to it. She seen stuff no mother should see. So I guess I would scold the system.

sub4hire -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 8:04:15 AM)

I have more than one attorney now.  While it would cost me I'm not suing anyone presently.
I feel there are too many frivilous lawsuits as it is.  So even free my answer would be no one.

Nobody. Why would I? Karma will get them and I won't be part of it, I'd just sit and watch and laugh.

Speaking of which I do need to call my attorney, set up an appt for during my daughter's spring break. I just realized that since she's 18, I need a poa to sign the tax returns. No way am I mailing it up and hoping she remembers to mail them back.

pahunkboy -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 8:16:39 AM)

IMO there isnt too many frivilous lawsuits.

Bizarre lawyers wrecking the world.   Think of it- insurance written by lawyers-

my complaint is corporations have too much power in the courts.  Of my many lil red riding hood trips to the court- was a small claims against an employer who kelp my tools.  I lost. Then I thought- uh huh- the company contributed to teh judges election!!!   To the guys at the plant using my hammer...enjoy it- the hanlde was up my azz.   *grins*  lol

then when i was at teh red cross - we could not build a handicap ramp. the lumber was donated- the boy scouts were set to build it. well- no insurance. i wanted to still do it.  national made a direct order to not- since we did not have insurance for the project. [we checked and even for 1 day it was outragious]  that was 10 yrs ago. today still no ramp.  no way for a wheel chair to get into a bldg wheere they have 1st aid...cpr, etc..

Around here it would be a done deal.  I've worked with permits in the past too.  You always seem to be waiting for them to come inspect.  We have permits here but..in one way its a good thing and in another its a bad thing.
You can get a permit for anything, anytime.  Yet, it doesn't mean it is done safely.  I can't complain yet...because I am part of the government here now.  All I can do is make the change..or somehow voice the opinion to get a change made.

Alumbrado -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 8:26:04 AM)

Harry J. Anslinger

camille65 -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 8:48:13 AM)

A particular dentist. He never diagnosed me as having TMJ, just an 'emotional disorder' and I didn't get treated for it until too much damage was done. I wish I could slap him across his face & I am a very non violent person. Hmm maybe punch him but that would probably hurt my hand hah.

DisenchantedLife -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 9:02:01 AM)

the government

Feric -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 9:50:39 AM)

No one. Frivolous lawsuits are destroying this country and annhiliating the concept of jurisprudence.

subfever -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 12:39:29 PM)

Well, if this so-called free attorney is extremely competent and had a competent staff at his disposal, I would sue the Federal Reserve for the right of the American people to impose a full audit, including the requirement that the names of all its shareholders be made public. (Yes, for those of you who don't already know, the Federal Reserve is privately owned.)

After all, these people control our lives to such an enormous degree. Why should we continue to allow an invisible government?

Take on those Dianetics and Scientology Cunts for a good laugh.

Hahah Fuck em up!

Vendaval -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 7:49:09 PM)

I would gladly sue a former employer for continuous sexual harassment from a previous supervisor.
(The jackass also had a wife and a kid !)   [&:]

ravennfyre -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 7:52:09 PM)

I have a team of attorneys at my disposal...
and at present, there isn't a person alive I'd wish to send through the court system right now, no matter how angry I might feel...

Asherdelampyr -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 8:00:43 PM)

I would sue Jack Thompon!

PanthersMom -> RE: You have an attorney (1/22/2008 8:17:05 PM)

the bastard drunk driver who hit me when i was 16.  i was in a stopped car, he was doing about 50 in a 25 zone.  threw the car a block down the street with the impact, the brake lines burst.  if i'd known the headaches and nerve damage i'd still suffer over 25 yrs later i never would have allowed my parents to settle for me.
