This isn't really a question, but I'll cap off the post with one anyway. I haven't been able to do much of anything with my girl in quite a while now. General life interfering stuff. Well, the other day she said some stuff to me that absolutely thrilled me and I wanted to go out and do something nice for her. I also wanted to do something cruel and tease her a bit. So I went and got her a fairly nice (IMHO) silver necklace with a tag at the end. Multiple loops of chain, so it's basically 3 necklaces woven together. I thought it looked pretty nice. I picked it up and took it to her @ work where I made her close her eyes as I put it on her. I left very explicit instructions that she doesn't get to look at it until she finally takes it off at the end of the day. She can ask other people to describe it, but no peeking whatsoever. She said I was being horribly cruel and I just smiled. I guess I'll hear in a couple of hours if she likes it or not. Anybody else have their master inflict something like this upon them? What'd you think?

a month before he arrived, SO told me the story behind the engagement/wedding rings. it's a cute (and long story) however as torture he wouldn't describe the engagement ring to me. i had to wait until we appear live on air at the station. when he presented it on bended knee, i was surprised to finally see this antique ring which looks quite lovely on my finger.

it is very cute...the jewelry part will never fail with a woman, and the thought you put behind it....well, it says a lot and i'm sure she see's it. in other words, you're not going to be sleeping on the couch for a while!

I have to say that it i sweet that you put so much though into that peice of jewelry, and that in it self would make it worth waiting to look at. Though it is a bit crule to tell a women he cant look at a new peiece of jewelry

As a follow up, she did let me know last night that she really really liked the necklace. Getting through the day without looking at it was tough, but fortunately for her she was quite busy so that helped distract her at least. She even did remember to tuck it into her shirt when she went to the bathroom, lest she accidentally see it. 'course, my plan did somewhat backfire due to real life interfering. Took about 24 hours 'til I heard from her that she actually did like it and was happy with it. I was confident she would like it, but it's still always nice to hear it as well. So I kinda shot myself in the foot in that regard, waiting to find out what she thought. Whoops.

I am learning to accept gifts... I have never been good at it... It would be just awful and torturous to have diamonds dripping on it, though, as someone else mentioned.... (i have never had a diamond [sm=hewah.gif]) Ahhh... pleasure is sometimes that way ;) [sm=horse.gif]
