p.s. What I'm specifically hoping for is that a sub who LIKES being treated that way from initial contact will be willing to share their feelings here. Again, I'm not judging anything, but I am absolutely fascinated as to how this could feel good from someone you've never met, and I'm sincerely curious to understand the feelings of a sub who prefers such treatment.

There is a sub on ALT with the handle Cuntpig. She tells Doms that e-mail her that if they dont address further e-mails with "you fillty little pig" Then they will be deleted.

So they are out there. But I would suspect that they are few and far between.

I am curious about whether you were told this by a sub or a Dom/me.

This information came (with dismay similar to my own) from three female subs at a munch in NYC. We were lamenting about the unfortunate aspects of the scene, and the subject of these sorts of e-mails came up. I thought it was just obvious that nobody would ever take such message seriously, and all three of them said "NO!!! We know lots of subs who are turned off UNLESS the first contact is that brash!". These three women seemed completely perplexed to understand why it was true, but insisted it was. I still can't believe it, hence my question.

That's how come I've been collared 637 times.

I would suggest that brash and degrading are two different appoaches.

Your profile is quite verbose, if you invest that much time in an initial e-mail you might be saturating them way too soon.  Personally, I like a short e-mail that indicates interest specifically gleaned from my profile followed by a small amount of information pertaining to his thoughts on why we are compatible and maybe even a question for me so I don't stare at a blank screen wondering how I want to respond.

A man can be commanding in an e-mail while avoiding being crass.  A man can also be polite to the point of wimpiness, especially if he over explains himself.

Then again, I'm one of those you didn't want to respond to you...

BossyShoeBitch -> RE: Does "On your knees, Bitch!" EVER work in a first e-mail? (1/24/2008 2:01:14 PM)

Oh sure.  It works almost as well as when they call you a slut in the first email.

Actually, my intended strategy was to be as verbose and complete in my profile as possible, for the sake of not having to explain myself and my desires over and over and over again in e-mails. I find that almost everyone prefers (and often will only respond to) personalized e-mails. The idea behind the verbose profile was supposed to be to answer just about all the "usual questions" so that my e-mail time could be better spent getting to know THEM rather than explaining myself AGAIN for the umpteenth time.

But you make an excellent point about over-saturation. Perhaps I need to whittle the profile down a bit...

Huh? I didn't understand what you meant by that comment. I welcome everyone's response - that's why I asked for opinions. Did I do something to give you the impression I didn't respect your opinion?

I think they may work for ones who dont read here and who are new and want that, I wouldnt send am email like that unless they state thats what they want in their profile, Ill have to try it to the ones who say they want to be treated like shit, they never reply to the nice emails anyways Big grin

lilabbotsfordgrl -> RE: Does "On your knees, Bitch!" EVER work in a first e-mail? (1/24/2008 2:30:47 PM)

"On your knees whore", "suck my cock NOW" and "your pussy is my altar of pain", and first emails like them, DO work.  There are people out there who function this way, both giving and receiving.

I'm not one of them.  However, my suggestion to you is:

a) don't let it bother you that you're not the same as people who use and enjoy this kind of communication
b) don't whine about it publicly

bschwimmer -> RE: Does "On your knees, Bitch!" EVER work in a first e-mail? (1/24/2008 2:34:03 PM)

i would be you bitch or slut anytime :)

shysub0951 -> RE: Does "On your knees, Bitch!" EVER work in a first e-mail? (1/24/2008 2:40:20 PM)

i have recieved some of these types of emails, though not in those exact words, before and i just reply back then block the sender. But no i would never make any further contact with the person other than to say no thank you and give them a reason why.

CalifChick -> RE: Does "On your knees, Bitch!" EVER work in a first e-mail? (1/24/2008 2:41:21 PM)

AE, I don't think you're going to find too many of those here amongst the regular posters.  Well, except Kali.  We all know how she is.  [;)]

Edited to say... I have yet to receive one of those types of emails.  Well, except from Jeff, but I just laughed.

Maybe you have to ask yourself if YOU want to have dealings and/or a relationship with a sub who wishes to be approached like that?  Have you ever thought about it that way? ..

In answer to your question, I would find that sort of approach not to my tastes at all, purely because I wish to have my "little grey cells" (sorry, Inspector Poirot) stimulated by a man before he starts his passage to my sexual side. But!  Some subs/slave do like this approach and it's their Kink, and it's all good at the end of the day. No?

Uh, ok, since I haven't done either of those things (let it bother me or whine about it), I'm not sure why you would think I might be inclined to or think it necessary to caution me not to. But since neither of those two things are in my plans and I was quite clear in my posts to say that I was not judging anyone but simply trying to understand, I guess we're on the same page. I'm sure that's what you must have meant.

Thank you for answering my question...is it possible I wonder, that "lots of subs" is still a relative minority...notable because it is such an exception from the norm of the subs in your circle of friends?

I regret I don't have an answer for you.... .
