iwillserveu -> Question for Dominas and Doms (2/20/2004 2:13:03 AM)

This is a copy of my post on Why a Slave, Gorean or Otherwise :

"You're willing to put up with doing all the menial tasks. If you work outside the home you are willing to turn over all the money to your Mistress. You are willing, heck maybe eager, to do many fetishy things for her that are beyond the pale. (Unless McDonalds offers the urine shake they are beyond the pale.[:)])

This is not because Mistress needs it. It is because she wants it.

Does that describe a "manly man" who will take anything for "his" little woman? (Apologies to my Mistress for the possessive, but i have to use it here.) Or does that describe a worthless worm?"

My question, first for Dominas (or Dommes of FemDoms or whatever), would you rather own a "manly man" or a worm?

Now for Doms, would you rather own a "womanly" woman or a worm?

ZenMaster -> RE: Question for Dominas and Doms (2/21/2004 10:57:07 AM)

I think what a "worm" is for one may be a "manly man" or "womanly woman" for another. I think what is important is what the two agree upon with one another in their relationship together.

RoughstringRider -> RE: Question for Dominas and Doms (2/21/2004 11:24:19 AM)

Afraid I don't do worms.
Only problem is.... How do you define a worm? It's purely a matter of perspective.
In My case, I expect absolute authority, My word is law, blah blah, the usual "Lord of all I survey" business, and expect Mine to be totally obedient. And if she's not? Well, she's never enjoyed the lessons learned, about obedience.
Okay, so if she does as she's told, and totally yields to My will, how can I say she's not a worm? Because worms are not encouraged and expected to have independent thought. worms are not encouraged to (respectfully, of course) voice opinions on everything from what movie they might like to be taken to, to how they feel about the discipline being handed out.
worms have no spirit, no fire. they crawl along in the muck, getting stepped on, until the day they get squished. I prefer obedience... willful, thought out, sometimes with a mistep, but conciously wanting to be the best person they can be... obedience.
Give Me fire in her eyes, anyday. A lot more fun for Me, than squishing worms.

Id agree with roughstringrider...better to break a wild horse than a nag...better to own someone of worth than someone worthless...give me obedience yes but also give me spirit

Ick, I don't do worms either!

I like feminine women, intelligent women; women with spirit - and I only like them, or I should say am only attracted to them if they're submissive, too! Spirit does mean occasional brattiness etc; indeed I've always liked subs with a bit of mischief about them....

Complete and utter obedience? Nah, I'd get bored with her.... It shouldn't be that easy for her to kneel for me anytime I demand or expect it as it deprives me of my own need to actively dominate her. Serving isn't just about submitting - you can do that for any vanilla! My girl is also a vessel for me to dominate, even if she may be having a "mood". Ohh, and in between, she's also to maintain herself to my ideals of a feminine woman and "worthless worm" never fits my ideals!

Hmmm... I definately prefer womanly women who are very strong, intelligent, confident and aware of themselves as being so....and yet, can put all of that aside in order to be my worm, should I have that desire.

Well, i'm not a Mistress but i can tell you what Master says about this issue:
"If you collar a doormat you haven't accomplished anything." So mark one up for the "womanly woman" side lol.

Manly man.

I often say that a good submissive boy is like a guard dog. He is stands proud, is impressive and intimidating somewhat to others, ensures my safety and comfort, is alert and ready for anything, is at my feet and obeying my every command.

Should I play the heterosexist card again? Hmmm... nah, it seems to have little to no effect.

I'd rather a womanly woman, brazen, strong, full of brains, personality and opinions, and a strong masochistic streak would be nice!

My dearest and best friend.

KnightRaven -> RE: Question for Dominas and Doms (9/1/2005 2:27:39 PM)

What I want is a Woman, in the fullest sense of the word. I want her to obey my requests becuase she wants to, or trusts me enough that she believes that anything I ask her to do is in her best interests. I do not mind taking on a work in progress, but what really attracts me is a woman who knows that she is worth the world and yet still wants to make a gift of it for that special Dom.
