Damn, are all the CM women on the fucking rag or what?  Subtee, try and find where I talk about how "perfect everything is."  Wonderful, yes, but I don't think I have ever mentioned perfection relating to me or our relationship.  My posts about myself and my relationship are always filled with caveats.  I may have called her "perfect" or something similar but I am sure it was clearly in the context of "perfect for me" as opposed to more perfect than anyone else. 

Are we on the rag?  Is that seriously how you address a woman's thoughts that don't jive with yours? All I'm saying is that you have taken pains to express how happy the two of you are even when it isn't a propros...might be considered that romantic hyperbole, which is fine except when you want to label others' "full of shit."

Honestly, I try not to worry about whether what I do is enough, whether I will have enough time, whether I show too much or too little.  I am just me and that was enough for him from the very beginning and the same goes for him and Alandra. 

I find that worrying or thinking about these things keeps me from being present in the moment.  I will be the best me that I can today and that will be enough.  It will be enough for me and for the ones I love and who love me.

Putting degrees of value on expressions of love is pointless to me. All that matters is that they are expressing sincere feelings in whatever way. If they don't have those sincere feelings, then buying me a car will not be the same as receiving a hug from someone who does.

If you know someone sincerely loves or cares for you, then the questions themselves become jejune. Whether it's 12 hours on a plane or a simple kiss before going to work, the same sincere feeling is being expressed. At that point, assigning values to expressions might even be defeating, because you could start to take for granted or not appreciate the simplest expressions from someone trying to remind how much they love you.

Now...back to your regularly scheduled bickering....
