Looking4answrs -> PA piercing for chastity (9/3/2005 2:38:16 PM)

Hi
About a year ago, I was the proud recepient of a PA piercing. I got the PA in the hopes of finding a more secure chastity device[;)] Well, to make a long story short, the device didn't work and I no longer want...or need the piercing. My delimma is that I have had the jewelry out for about 3 months now and the piercing still has not closed[:-] I am beginning to think that it never will. Does anyone know if a PA closes or not? I really want to get this closed up...I try to block it with the jewelry but everytime I put a ring in, the piercing stretches. It has gone from a 10ga to a 6ga and I am afraid if I keep going...well....you can figure the rest out. Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If it's a fully healed piercing, it probably won't ever close.

As far as I know, the only way...if it is healed completely... it to repierce it with a larger guage, creating a new wound (basically) and then that new wound will heal.

Considering where it is... do you want to go through all that, to get it to close? And if the hole has stretched that far.... you may have scarring issues. My best idea, would be to go talk to a GOOD piercer, and see if I am correct (I'm pretty sure I am, as I have had simialr conversation with piercers, just cause I am a very curious person...) and see if that's the best avenue for you.

Oh, smiles...and quit putting bigger rings in, as that is the way you intentionally stretch a hole. Put smaller guages in, may help to let it become smaller. To a certain size this is how you both stretch, and shrink the holes in ears.

it will never FULLY seal but will after a while get smaller and smaller so its not "noticeable" or cause you to sit todwn to pee..

Out of curiosity what device did you use? What part did not work about it?
How long did you wait for you PA to heal before putting a device in the mix?

I’m just curios, as I have considered this option as well.

Thanks in advance for sharing!

from what I've know... the skin may very well eventually close and but the urethra doesn't have that kind of properties.

There is an interesting account on bmezine about a man who fixed his by using sterilized drill bits (by re-opening the wound and causing it to heal again.)

If you are really interested in having it 'heal' I would consult your local doctor/make a call to whatever establishment you got is pierced at and get their opinion.

My PA hole has been empty for about 4 years now, and it is still only a gauge or two size smaller. My frenum loop that I had 'ringed' for 7 years hasn't materially diminished in circumference in 4 years either.

If you want to get rid of the hole, finda a Kink-Friendly MD or DO to close it for you. A little local anesthetic and a few shallow scalpel draws should do the trick, with a suture or two to approximate the sides.

Then again, if it does not interfere with normal urination, then why bother fixing it?

Just my tuppence opinion, which may be ignored at will, of course. <grin>

There is a surgical procedure that doctors use to close the large holes (piercings) that some people have put in their ears. I don't know a lot about it but I do know it works since a young friend of mine had to do it when he was selected for fighter pilot training. Find a competent dermatologist or plastic surgeon and get the information from them.

Hey everyone....just wanted to thank you all for the advice/opinions! I sort of figured it wouldn't close....guess I was just hoping against hope [&o] I have resorted to the fact that I will have to ask my Dr. if he can do anything the next time I see him......I can handle the "turn your head and cough" thing but this will take some real courage to do[:-]

Just wanted to say that it does in a way........It comes out of 2 holes......practically takes 3 hands not to make a mess!!!!!

comes out of 2 holes? makes a mess?

something is not right here.

i just had my p.a. put in, 9/1/.....and mine is one stream,,,just as it always has been...there is no mess. i can stand or sit...there is no issue here for me. i worry about your situation. i wonder if it was done incorrectly.

take care

If it's coming out more than one hole to pee....sounds like the piercer messed up and pierced through your urethra. Reopening is the only way it may close, and whether a piercer or doctor does it.... that's (i"m pretty sure) what they'll do....sorry. Doctor may numb you first though.....*smiles?...

Good luck

A PA is supposed to go through the urethra.

Yeah, I was going to say that as well.

And if the ring were still in place, it might not be two streams (in response to the person who just got pierced). It is pretty common for guys who have that peircing to have to learn to re-aim though ... at least from what I've heard.

oooo...ok. Wonders what in the heck I was looking at then...? lol

I appreciate the concern Lonewolf.....but the reason it comes out two holes is because I can't wear any jewelry in it. When I do, it only stretches the hole and makes it bigger....the oppsite of what I want!!! Therefore, I have two holes....unplugged so to say [:-]

You've had your PA a whole six days. Pehaps you lack the necessary knowledge/experience to question his piercer's procedure?

It's *very* common for a healed PA to 'leak' out the piercing when urinating, especially when the piercing is stretched to larger gauges. Even in cases where the piercing doesn't leak, urine can follow along the surface of the jewelry and make it appear as though there is a leak, when there isn't. There is nothing "not right" or "incorrect" here. It just happens.

lonewolf05 -> RE: PA piercing for chastity (9/6/2005 7:18:52 PM)

ok..how about? you use a plastic retainer and plug em both up? only using smaller size so it may heal in a smaller size? just asking here.
my nipples just healed up by themselves, w/o jewelry.... as did the extra holes in my ears. i had,..at one time,..3 rings in each ear,...and i let the upper two holes heal over w/o jewelry in them.
just seems reasonable.
but i think "I" would be seeing my M.D. and have it sewed shut underneath.

lemme know.

Lets see. One of my friends founded the Association of Professional Piercers, another owned his own piercing shop after working for Gauntlet NYC for many years, several others have been piercers for over ten years and I know at least a dozen other people who have had PAs for times varying between 2 and 15 years. I've been around people with PAs and the people who 'install' them for quite a while now.

Oh wait, and I *had* one on the OEM chassis for nearly 11 years. I know what I'm talking about.

Tone down the melodrama a touch wolfie, I wasn't jumping down your throat. I know you were only trying to help, but keep in mind that a big part of helping is knowing when you're in a position to offer meaningful assistance and when you're not.
