Our election cycle is truly a nut show- giving the people in Pennsylvania no choice in the prez talent [cess] pool!

I like Kucinich.  I am not motivated enuff to affiliate tho. Well is Kucinich was in I sure would and TODAY.

We are so shallow- so bubbleheaded- once again the leader of the [sic] "free World" is reduced to the babble-bid  --> Coke V Pepsi.

God Help US.

Has it been anything less than a nut show in say the last 30 or so years?

30 years or so????     There's several entertaining books written on the history presidential elections and mudslinging.    It's been a nut show for 200 years.

I think 30 years is a conservative estimate. I remember 1972. I vaguely remember 1968. Even 1964 was a circus. i don't remember much about 1960 except the debates. I was too young to be really interested about some bunch of men trying to make another bunch of men look bad.

I think "campaign reform" (an oxymoron, I believe) should include a rule that candidates may not point out the failings of other candidates. Kind of like the mote and beam in the eyes.

Edwards dropped out? That really sucks. He was the only candidate for universal health care, as opposed to reforming the current system. Clinton and Obama are focusing on making health insurance more affordable. How does it help to have health insurance when insurance companies look for reasons not to pay for medical care anyway? The United States needs universal health care, not affordable health insurance (sharks that don't pay).

exactly, som many people would be healtheir if we were a nation that adopted universal healthcare. it seems anytime someone comes along that supports it they end up dropping out.
