I decided to put this out here. Why, I might never know. but after reading it you'll have a bit of insight. I don't really know why I put this out in public, but here goes.
C, you are a slob, and I don't mean in housekeeping. You are a slob on the mind. I wrote you off ten tears ago and that was because of how you are. You are back in my life now and I am beginning to question my judgement in letting you back.You have not changed much. You blew the last five jobs you've had, and two you stole from. That fact is very distasteful to me and you are lucky to know me at all. I should get rid of you now.
R, you are an idiot, you got C pulling things out of his house, which is being foreclsed upon, and then you change your mind. You need to make fifty grand a year to pay for your follies. Being diligent in your affairs means more than just getting turbotax every year. I toold you to sell that house years ago and you did not. Later when I told you to keep it you sold it. You told me that you don't understand my advice. Thwe thing is that when I told you to sell it, it was tears ago and there were certain market conditions. These conditions changed therefore my advice changed. So when it was time to keep that house, because you had a new Woman, you needed a new house. Well look where you are now. You are in a shoebox that you owe near a hundred grand on. The truth is the truth.
J, you call me and I say I want to start a business. You tell me that I got no truck, no license all that, and not all that much in tools, but J, you did catch yourself and say "What the fuck, I have all these things and ain't doing shit". You said it yourself.
M, you have to move on a bit, you don't want a regular job because of child support ? That is bullshit. First of all they do not find you right away. The pens that write checks do not have transmitters built in, telling some satellite that will immediately relay the information to the government. After what that bitch did to you I don't blame youi for not wanting her to get a dime. But when you want to fuck youreself up because of it, don't take me down with you. I paid that fine for you, that was always agreed and we are straight on that. I caused it, I paid it. I am glad it went so well.
And then there is Tony. The boss. Basically runnng the place into the ground, has bad fits of boatitis and broaditis. Tony, even when you are there you are ineffective. Tony, I thought you hired me becuse of my brain. But you won't listen, and frequently shut me down at the worst time. You don't believe what I say and that is stupid. You may have been in business for thirty years, but I got thirty years on the bench. And when I say I need something I need it. I am forty seven years old and I know the difference between 'I need' and 'Oh gee golly wow it would be cool to have this' You have three techs, not that I call them techs, but you got them. When I say I need something I mean that every minute that I do not have it is costing you money.
The other place, which seems to only be willing to hire me, Ed or EA is keeping TWO people in the kind of money you like to make with 1.5 techs. There is a rwason for that, I know the reason for that, and I actually taught them the reason for the. Call them. (He knows their number)
It is time to get hard all the way around. Out of my crowd (maybe twenty) about three or four have jobs. Good jobs. Why is it that we all have to make the money while the rest subsist on checks or their oladies or whatever ?
I am fucking telling you two things that I can absolutely attest to, because they are my decision. I might not be able to enforse it completely but I will come close. Here goes :
I do not answer phones when they ring. Someone else may answer it and if I find it to be someone I want to need or want to talk to, I will talk on the phone. I will also call people, but that is always business.My ringers are off, for good. I am not a secrectary, and can't afford one so too bad. You might have to endure a day without my precious wit. How I wish that you were born without me.
And after Friday I am never lifting a TV at work. Ever. I'll happily sit on the floor and fix them, but never again will I lift one.
I already have the Dremel sanction, I ill never Dremel anything there either. Ask me why, when you have the fucking time.
