With the continuing abominations, errr, I mean adaptations of comic book heroes to the big screen, does anyone want to see certain heroes made into a movie or which ones you want deleted from the movie archives, due to not sticking with basic stuff from the original comic never to be seen again? I'll make this simple, everything but the original superman needs to go and ladies and gentlemen, I'm not a fan of "supes".

holla back!!

M. Abductor-

You know, my favorite was "Popeye" starring Robin Williams. I may have been the only person who liked it.

Stay warm,
Lawrence

I have seen the previews of Catwoman and it has "bomb" written all over it. Michelle Pheiffer already did Catwoman.
How about a movie about Krypto? The four legged superhero.

My favorite comic movie is The Big Lebowski, although my favorite character in it is Donny (Steve Buscemi) who almost never says anything but his facial expressions during the entire movie just crack me up.

Although there is something to be said for The Jesus (John Turturro) as well.

topcat,

I loved Popeye too! We had just gotten HBO (back when they had no programing) and Popeye was almost always on. If you watch it twelve or so times you can make out what Robin Williams says and it is hillarious.

(Sorry, I'll read the rest of the posts now.)

OK, they were OK but the Batman movies (with Keaton, not West [POW!]) were off cannon. I mean the Joker is dead? Alfred bringing a reporter into the super secret Bat Cave? I agree having Batman be as dangerous as the Joker was a good play. (I forget who did the counting, but Joker had seventeen less confirmed felonies.)
