There are many people who are looking to start problems where there are none, such as this thread. Obviously, there has been a feeding frenzy among posters these past few days. And, there will always be people who just do not "get" the humor of others, so in defense of not getting it, and in the pursuit of being snarky, they look to instigate. Don't let yourself be baited into a discussion about it, you are so above that. Do what I am now doing, block and move ahead to the posts and threads that are worth it. Now that I am blocking, my eyes feel so much better for not bleeding when I see certain posts.
