So my Catholic upbringing influences this post.

For those of you who observe the practice, what are you (or your Domme or sub) doing or giving up for Lent this year?

I'm an Agnostic Jew - so thankfully nothing...but if I understand Lent, and that you are supposed to give up something that is very hard to be without...and had to do it - the hardest thing for me (as a Domme) would be foot massages.

I am Catholic, and this is the holiday season I love best,,,upcoming to Easter.  I am giving up wine, which, well I dont drink daily, is something I very much enjoy when I do.  (I dont drink any other alcohol normally, and wont either).  My next glass of wine wont be until Easter Dinner.  I also dont eat meat for Ash Wed, of course, any Friday during Lent and Good Friday I will have a 24 hr fast, and attend mass everyday during Holy Week, as I normally do. 
 
On a side note, I wrote a blog at the beginning of Lent, about being Catholic and gay and kinky, and how those affect one another,,,,,

I'm giving up reading threads that mention BBW's or "Financial Dommes".  Oh--and I'm also giving up being a smart-ass [:D]

Ok Im inspired. Im going to give up CM till easter or my will power fails which ever comes first.
