These get my vote, it's a shame none of them are on the list of nominees.

The Number 23
Freedom Writers
Rescue Dawn
Things We Lost in the Fire

Haven't seen There Will Be Blood as yet.

I have seen none of these movies. I wish I could see all these movies.

RealityLicks, looks as though "No Country for Old Men" is a wicked film. Recommend it?

"Meet the Spartans".  I haven't seen any films this year, so it's not exactly an educated choice.  But, it's the one I want to see.  :P

PS-  A poll thread with an all-caps title is pushing it on the OT forum.

I'd strongly recommend "No Country..." , Kittin, but in my eyes the Coen brothers can do little wrong, so I tip them to win tonight.  "There will be blood" is awesome, too.

Don't know if "Control" has had a release out there but look out for it if you like 80's music.

(Hmmm, 40 hits and 4 votes...... oh - KAY!)

Amen.  Somewhere along the way, these award shows developed some serious contempt for the movies people actually go to a theatre to see.

Contempt for the customers tastes isn't going to be a very sustainable business plan.
