i won't apologize for finding a shemale attractive...and yes...that's what i'm calling them because as was also mentioned earlier in the thread...there is a subset out there that wouldn't at all be offended by what i'm saying...in fact they'd probably profit from it...

So you have no problems with offending the majority of transsexuals just because there is a miniscule subset that doesn't find such a term to be a derogatory characterization?

Amazing.

You obviously do not take anyone else into consideration & are solely in pursuit of fulfilling your own desires. Hopefully this is 'under consideration' as your profile suggests.

I'm thinking you will one day use the term you insist on using with the wrong person & she will lay you flat out.

My partner is TS. She is involved with lecture groups at several colleges & an activist for rights for the GLBT community. She does this with hopes to help educate the general public that would otherwise only have the dark side of the porn/sex industry & stereotypes such as you have obviously been drawn to for education.

The posters here have also made an attempt to offer you suggestions & terms that would be less disrespectful to transsexuals.

Obviously the she-male sex kitten you seek is not reading from the forum. Might be best to take your search to the places on the net that openly seek out to sexually gratify persons such as yourself. Just have your credit card handy. No strings guaranteed.

ps. My comments may come across as stern but this hits too close to home to not comment & hopefully bring some enlightenment.

I can't keep track of the number of people that have contacted us with the sole intent to be dominated & have a TS in the mix. Being sought out to fulfill one's quest for kink is so dehumanizing. Anyone that is merely wishing to only have their kink fulfilled should look to the pro's in that field & live the non-pros alone.

am admittedly biased, being transgendered though not transsexual...

Can you please explain the distinction? Also, you say you are a non-gendered female in your profile. Could you expand on this?

Thanks,

I'm not the one that was asked, but I'll offer my two cents on the transgender/transsexual question. All definitions are my personal take on things and may or may not coincide directly with another person's.

Transsexual - A person who feels completely in the wrong body and seeks, through hormones, surgery, and learning things such as body language, to be able to completely "pass" as the biological sex the person feels e (I'm using Spivak pronouns to make being gender-neutral easy) should have been born as.

Transgender - A person who may share some qualities with a transsexual, such as wanting to pass as something other than how e was born. But transgender is a more umbrella term. It also encompasses those who feel either bigender, that ey are both male and female, and nongender, such as RumpusParable mentions in er profile, among other things.

A nongender female is one who was born biologically female, but has the mental state of not being either. At least, that's what I'm taking it to mean.

Do you consider a pre-op transsexual to be their "biological gender" or the gender they identify as?

I'm differentiating between sex and gender here - gender is such a wide spectrum. I lived in the leatherdyke world for several years, and in the gender-queer world longer than that (as an ally and occasional gender fucker) - and I will refer to anyone, at all, ever, by their chosen gender ID.

That goes for pre-op, post-op, non-op transsexuals, as well as all kinds of transgender or even just gender-queer individuals

I do draw a line between transsexuals and crossdressers. If a CD is in role, I'll refer to them by that day's chosen gender/sex, if they wish. But otherwise, they're their birth sex (I don't believe there is a "birth gender" - I believe that gender is a personal construct).

If you have a gender preference in a Dom/me or sub, do you avoid transsexual members of that gender?

No.

I generally prefer women (though Sir is an anomaly) - though I love transmen and transgender guys (born female, ID male). I've never dated a transwoman, but I've played with a few.

Transgender can also include genderqueer-- people who intentionally fuck with gender, or "queer" gender, recognizing what a pliable and strange playground it can be.

And hi H... don't I know you?
