I am not overly experienced in that I haven't have a lot of exposure to different "D"types. I have had a few brief encounters, and am now in a permanet relationship with my Master/Daddy.

So a question occured to me ....there have to be different "styles" of being a "D" type...maybe some lean more toward punishment....some toward talking things thru...some less interested with protocol...... some very into protocol.... The answers are as varied as human beings themselves I'm sure......

So whats your style?... are you mild?....wild?....strict protocol? or not so much.... "s" types...if you are free to do so...chime in as to what you think your "D" types syle is....I'm axious to hear what Y'all have to say

My style? Near as I can figure, its 1950's 'Man of the House' crossed with Daddy Dom but without the age based connotations (although age-play does have its good aspects) . This also completely in my head and not based on experience.

But thats cool...... I think its good to know ones heart and mind... The fun part is "fine tuning" it when you find the one for you....

understanding Sadist? It depends a lot on who I am Domming to be honest, some subs need punishment, some don't. I am cetainly demanding, I am strongly in favor of communication as well though.

Good point...and its understandable that you would be more or less inclined to do different things depending on who you are in a relationship with..... What I was curious about was the things that seem to a constant in your approach to being a "D" type. The things that wouldn't change no matter the partner.

We love higher protocal. It's something that's comfortable to us and brings us a lot of pleasure. We love the dance. In addition, He's very sadistic but not your beat em and whip em kind of sadistic (although he's very good at that too). I'm very masochistic but not your beat me, whip me kind of masochistic (although I love that as well.) What we do goes straight to the mental/emotional aspects of things. The higher protocal keeps us in check and provides consistency that I, for one, need.

I am the talking type......but with a limit...I hate when agreements are broken (not only in the lifestyle). Then I can change and punish.

I'm a mix of things. I'm pretty laid back, I don't need or want a lot of protocol. I have clearly defined rules and expectations which I do enforce and expect to be met, if not he does get disciplined in ways that he certainly doesn't like. I am a sensual sadist while playing as I love to inflict pain on him while getting him so hot that he begs for more.
