OK the Dr says no kneeling period. can crack the artifical knee cap.  well as a male sub, most positions for servicing, or discipline involve kneeling.

Have post, and bed restraints but still missing a real sub position.

any ideas ?

When I was looking into a knee replacement I was told the same thing...etc etc.

I am not sure I WOULD risk it, however...I have observed a few men in the church I attend down on their knee`s at times. I HAD to ask one and he just looked at me and smiled....I thought good luck cracker...

Thats a tough one, I have no input =L=...in time who knows what your limitations will be...

Be careful, they only put in a few!

Gotta be tough when its a postion you like and crave to be in...I hope some will have had your experience and will share with you.

I only had a partial replacement, just the inner section. I wasnt told not to kneel but when i do its unbearable. What about some of those knee cushions that carpet fitters use ?

Was told even 18" of foam wouldn't be enough and the problems if I crack the knee cap are something I don't want to experience.

Get a small stool to sit on, the important thing is that you are kneeling in your heart.

I agree with that sentiment; it is what is your heart that should count.  Many people have physical limitations they need to work around.

Another suggestion: how about on one knee...the classic "proposal postion"?  Would your knee stand up to that?

My pet had a total knee replacement 3 years ago, his doctor told him not to crawl around on his knees, he said it would be too painful to do anyway, but he could use foam if he needed to be on his knees for any reason. Our bed is so soft it isnt needed however I never had him on his knees anyway for the first year and a half, and even now only for 10-20 minutes tops. And, he tells Me if hes uncomfortable, so he can move. If you are afraid to get on your knees at all I wouldnt do it. Dont feel bad, like was already posted, lots of people have limitations, you'll find a way to work around them, use your imagination!! Hummm....got a sturdy coffee table? Stand on the leg that has the new knee and kneal with the other knee, or just bend over the bed. We have a hump back trunk we used for a while after his surgeory, that worked GREAT!!

I had a knee operated on when I was a kid. It hurts and gets really stiff if bent. It gets stiff when i wear heels too. The skin is really thin and tender near the very large incision so kneeling becomes easily too painful. Along with my bad back modifications for comfort has to be made. I do not lack for passion and enthusiasm which more than makes up for any limitations.

With a sensitive Master, they are readily acceptable to any modifications that need to be made. Your physical well being is of utmost importance.

Being young and with younger Dom's it's usually all about the kneeling with them. But I have no ligaments holding the caps in anymore. (Yep I can quite litterally put my caps in the back of my leg but it hurts like hell) I have to firmly explain to them, if you have me kneel, that will be about all you can have me do for the night becuase my knees will lock up and I wont be able to walk on them for the rest of the evening until they stop spasamin or whatever. Some say no way, you do it all or nothing. But most are cool with modifying it in some way. Just talk to the Dom/me!

one of the most submissive postures I have ever seen is lying face down, stretched out on the floor - and I saw this position at an ordination of a catholic priest.  It was beautiful!
