CrimsonMoan -> How Would You Handle This? (2/15/2008 1:11:37 PM)

This question was posed to Dan Savage the Savage Love Advice Columnist. its one of a stack of questions he himself was unable to answer and turned to his readers for help with. I am curious to see what the CM crowd has for a response to this

My wife and I enjoy a vigorous BDSM lifestyle and take part in some pretty heavy activities. One we haven't tried but are anxious to is Tabasco sauce on mucous membranes, e.g., nostrils, clit, and anal tissues. Our question: What would we use to cool the burn should the application of Tabasco sauce to her anus or clit prove to be too much for her to endure?Master & Servant

Capsaicin, the stuff that puts the hot in peppers and such, is not (or not significantly) waterdilutable. This means that trying to get rid of the burning with water will not help.
However, it is dilutable in oil. So I would keep a bottle of oil and some really soft tissues handy, to carefully try and wipe the Tabasco from the affected areas.

It is also wise to try the sauce on  areas like the butt crack, back of knees,  inside elbow, or inside lower lip,  where tender skin is just to get an idea of how sensitive the softer skin is to it and how it responds before applying it to even more sensitive areas such as mucous membranes.

I thought you used milk to counteract the heat of chilli's?

I don't eat spicy foods. Or use them anywhere delicate.

::sigh::

Wish I'd thought of that.  I'm sure it works much better than milk.

camille65 -> RE: How Would You Handle This? (2/16/2008 12:19:35 PM)

I was thinking sour cream. Truthfully I have no idea if a dairy product used topically will do anything for that. Now I'm curious, anyone I can practice on?[;)]

I don't think anything with an "oil" base is going to greatly reduce the problem.....Quite frankly if someone dips their shit into hot sauce they deserve what they get without relief.

It's simply not imaginable for sane people to cause discomfort without having a way to relieve the pain....It's dumb.

Why not just pull the clit off with a pair of pliers....Feed a fever, starve a cold?

KatyLied -> RE: How Would You Handle This? (2/16/2008 12:33:21 PM)

Sour cream sounds better than mayo.  I don't know why.  And you can't practice on me! [:D]

domi, you know, sometimes girls don't have a choice when mean men want to torment their precious parts...

Sour cream might work...What is the cure for laying a pair of pliers in the fire and then applying to one's clit?

I was once chopping up some jalapenos and then I scratched my balls....Two things come to mind...First, it burned like Hell...Second, I don't think it is wise to eat at my house.

MissHarlet -> RE: How Would You Handle This? (2/16/2008 12:44:57 PM)

There is nothing that totally relieves the burn ... butter or baby oil helps .....but the burn has to " run its course so to speak"  and anyone that thinks figging is intense shouldnt try tabasco or jalapeno oils on sensitive areas or in enemas <EG> .....
