What a pleasant surprise.

Weighed in today at 183 pounds.

I started this diet when I reached 277 pounds. That was about six years ago.

My goal is 150, and I plan on achieving it this year. Since New Year's I've managed to lose about 20 pounds.

And no, there has been no surgery, no drugs, no special diets or fad diets, just plain old exercise and reduction in portions.

Anyone else care to report on their progress?

Congratulations!  This is great news for a Monday!

Since you asked, i'll share mine.  Since mid-September, i've lost 50 pounds and have 20 to go.

Well done to all of us *losers*!  We should check in like this more often for hugs and pats on the back.

Congrats, 94 lbs is awesome!!!

I lost 37 on South Beach several years ago and am struggling to maintain that. But it's the first time I've lost and not gained it all back.

Wow...good for you!

I lost 15# a month ago, and while I've pretty much continued eating the same way, I've not lost another yet.  ggrrrrrrrr  I won't give up...but it seems I may have to actually start moving around some!  <sigh>

Hi Bev, been wondering how you were doing with that.  Moving does help, LOL.

That is awesome!

Um, my "progress"?  See my profile pic.  I was 183 (and running half marathons) six years ago.  I really need to get back there, from my current 230.  Thanks for the inspiration!

kdsub -> RE: 94 pounds and counting ... (2/18/2008 3:11:39 PM)

Good job...I went from 230 to 163... over 5 years but I'm now back up to 190... It seems the keeping it off is a lot harder than loosing it.

Good luck to you

Butch

Since I divorced 2 years ago, I have shed 70 lbs, several inches (went from a size 20 to a size 14) and have taken great joy in sending my exhusband progress pictures *laugh*
