Recently there have been some newspaper editorial questioning McCain fittness to be President.  Their point is he is well known to loose his temper.  Some fear that he may in one incident he may push the button and off go several nuclear missles.

However, no one seems to apply this to Hillary Clinton.  She is well know and well documented even by her friends to go on the war path and have eposide of rage when she doesn't get her.
 way.

Maybe they just need an anger management class?

People need to get a clue.  Presidential pique does not presage Armageddon.

Especially since moronism hasn't stopped Presidents from exercising their functions. A little temper, well, what's the big deal, after what we've just gone through?

Passion in government is a fine thing. Emotionalism is a curse.

People running for public office should be screened for emotional and mental illness and candidates instructed in emotional "intelligence" and history.

And anyone who says god told them to make war on another country, should be ejected from office and barred from serving ever again.

I am more worried that his temper will make him have a stroke due to his age---people who cvote for him better be voting based on the VP selection.

People need to get perspective when reading things and filter it through real life. In fact it could be said what you read in terms of negatives pointed out by the opposition like you would read or hear someone talk about M/s. If it sounds like a one true way then it is probably full of crap.

To think not every President that we have had in our history that not one let alone a majority probably have had significant tempers. The qualities that job requires for someone to want it are too close to a temper quality. Heck just look at King George, he practically throws hissy fits on a daily basis and has yet to nuke anyone.

I would look at this way if a person has never shown a temper then I probably have just seen their total fake side. To see McCain, Clinton and Obama show that side is just to make them look more human and get a better perspective of who they are.

Some people say that George W. Bush's behavior fits the profile of a sufferer of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), but it didn't stop him from securing the White House. Bill Clinton might well have been suffering from Satyriasis; FDR was in a wheelchair from polio; Ronald Reagan failed to distinguish movies from reality, a possible sign of dissociation; the list of presidential ailments is long and dismaying to read, and yet here we all are, alive and well.

Oddly we do seek to elect a human being to the office.  I sure hope we don't manage to find one without emotions personally.

You cat would probably actually qualify for a big block of the vote which is merely "I'm voting for anyone that isn't x".

Oddly to run for President in this Country has very few requirements...In the Constatution you have to be 35 years of age and a natural born US citizen.  Also not have held the office twice before.  There is nothing regarding education, IQ, state of phyiscal or mental health.

And laurell3 the current President calls his VP, and Sec. of State along with some present and past White House Staffer "Vulcans" becaused the lack emotions.  If you saw the video on the meeting when FEMA was discussed with the White House the projected damage Katrina was going to cause you get a good picture of how emotionless they really are.
