She sure did, I was just all innocent!  Actually, at one point I even blocked her because I got tired of her games and figured she was one of those guys who puts up pictures of some hot chick and pretends to be a woman.  Turns out I was wrong...

He's not kidding.. He really did block me at first...lol..

Agreed. I was married when I met Master, ex was with me that night and when he saw there was some interest (we had an open marriage, he was sub, I'm a SAM, it hadn't worked for us in 11 years) said "Hey she can stay, she's free, white and over 21 and I don't own her".  Master and I agreed to wait. I went home that night. 2 Months later, he as he put it, "Recycled a perfectly good Slave and Wife. Fool didn't know what he had."

Not exactly..
I had been hestitant to speak to him on the phone for a few weeks already and was a bit nervous about calling him..  I told him he hadn't given me his number yet (which he quickly rectified) but then told him I was still nervous about calling him..  That was the straw that broke the camel's back..  He said he didn't have time for games and that I was probably a man anyway.. Then he blocked me.. I was really upset and finally called to apologize and to prove I wasn't a man..
If he hadn't blocked me and gotten me upset, I might not have ever had the nerve to call him.  I was just coming out of a 12 year marriage and was a bit out of practice with such things...

When you see over and over that 'respect is earned' - how can anyone think that anyone else owes Masters respect, when they haven't 'earnt it?

I have Doms perv my profile, but very few actually message me. Switches usually are the ones who do it. I usually talk to them casually, but make it plain I have a Daddy.

How does reading your whole profile make me a perv?

Which would explain why it is perfectly reasonable to be rude to a sub in the first email.

Which would explain why it is perfectly reasonable that so many Dom(mes) have no sub/slave ? ;)

Because I am also very owned and very married, and it so states in my profile, my favourite thing to do to these bloopybrains (other than block and delete) is to answer with, I've forwarded your letter to Master, he'll get back to you!

Funny... they never write back.*grin*

Whats going on that your master doesn't trust you enough that he feels threatened by this?

Why do you assume I feel threatened?

I look forward to your reply.

I looked at your profile ^.^ I would put collared as your first line, it will deter a lot more.... I've seen some people say that messages must be sent to their Dom/Domme. I have the same problem... i said looking for friends, and then friends without benifits, and i've got a ton of junk mail.  I'm almost certain most people don't read and instead just see that you match some particular critera and just copy and paste a message in there... so yeah... keep your head up hopefully your One will understand.

This is probably a very old topic by now, but it has been getting on my nerves alot lately.

So. i have been very annoyed lately with messages here on CM from Doms, and even male subs. Its not that i am not willing and happy to strike up a friendship with anyone, just that i would think that 1) my screenname would suggest that i am not available and 2) my profile clearly states that i am looking for friends.

i am getting lots of messages asking if i am owned, which is fine and i answer in the affirmative...but then they proceed to try to convince me to leave my Master for them. That or they just start off with messages of how i should just belong to them and thats it.

i think this shows a huge amount of disrespect for my Master, and if it continues, i won't be allowed on collarme anymore. Its very frustrating, and i don't understand how people can so casually disregard ownership...if they had a slave, they wouldn't like people trying to persuade her to leave Him, would they?

any thoughts?

owned,

years ago this would happen very rarely, now with all the pretenders calling themselves Dominants, it is common place.

For my money you off limits.

I think for some it's not an issue of jealousy or insecurity, instead it is a form of authority they exercise over their sub.  They like to read her email and laugh at some of the stupid stuff.  At least that has been my experience.  Nothing more than exerting authority.  In my case it was highly entertaining because I had no disclaimer on my profile.  So my dominant was able to respond to some of the clueless messages, on my behalf.  He came up with some pretty good stuff.
