My friends tell me you can solo in Warcraft to the level cap with all body parts intact???? Is this correct!?! :)

I had no clue this game was that big. Maybe I should finally give in to peer pressure.:D I may just look into Warcraft. Thanks guys.

Luna

Yes.  Yes you can.

Ok.  Some limbs may be lost in the process. However,  it can be done.

If you want to solo to 70 as quickly as possible without having to think/strategize much choose a hunter.
If you want to solo to 70 and don't mind having to think (and want a free mount) choose a warlock.
If you don't like pets (and want a free mount) choose a paladin.

Are Paldian/Warlock mounts really "free"?  I still remember a couple of Palidans buying six Arcanite from me each.  When I asked why, they said it was among the things that they needed for their mount quest.  Plus most of the cost for mounts is just the training, so it seems to me that their mounts are unusually expensive.

Edit:  Nevermind!  Seems the non-epic mount is free, and the epic one may cost a Palidan a good bit, but it comes with the training to ride it, so it's usually cheaper.  No wonder they were so anxious to get the Arcanite!  I should've charged more.  :P

lvl 24 hoard female troll warrior...ashenvale, stonetalon mountains....the monsters are the same level or one above or one or two below me.  they heal themselves...im using a shitty lvl 16 one hand axe (one hand axe my weapon of choice).  without any higher weapon i cant progress.

i only play solo.  that way i get the experience.  you play group you get no experience.  its not like diablo ..you only get a small % of someone elses kill.
where as diablo you could sit back and gain lvl's doing nothing at all.  hence the lvl 99 diablo chars made in 24 hours.  i dont want to join any guilds.  i bought this game because when i played diablo i could sit down..put my music on and 5 hours would pass like it was 5 mins.  i only have one character.

my time runs out in 2 days... (on the 22nd)  and i think i am the only one on the feathermoon (california) server.

Try playing a hunter. After lvl 10 you get a pet to help you fight. Makes solo playing much easier and a lot more fun.

or get a heart attack and die from doing those things with my heart condition.
heart condition = absolutely no labor.

Ok then you could data entry for a few hours and earn your 30 bucks. You can use a computer, right?

Classes and their downfalls:
Rogue: Excellent Melee DPS, but overrolled on most every server- leads to frustration in endgame when there are already 4 rogues in an SSC run. (BDSM equivalent: Sadist)
Warlock: Awesome pets, good caster DPS, free mount, the ability to take on several mobs at once, BUT wears cloth and if your pet dies....I hope you have drain life slotted (BDSM equivalent: Dominant)
Priest: (Holy and/or Disc) Amazing healing spells, one of the best healers to have in an instance, BUT you are more than likely the first to gain aggro when the tank drops it, also you wear cloth. (BDSM equivalent: subbie)
(Shadow) Mana, Mana, Mana! Your spells at lvl-cap are a joy to all mana users in your group, you basically act as a mana battery and do pretty nice DPS at the same time, BUT you're a priest and though you may be specced shadow every group until end-game where your value is recognized is going to ask you to heal. (BDSM equivalent: SAM)
Warrior: Arguably the best tanking class in the game. You get to wear plate, if you choose a bad hairstyle for your toon your helm will almost always hide it, and you can stand in one spot and tank fabulously. BUT there are a lot of effects ( priests PW:Shield, Pallies BOProtection, etc.) that will save your life that can't be used due to the fact that if you're not getting hit, you're not regenerating rage to hit back. (BDSM equivalent: Masochist)
Paladin: You can tank, DPS, and heal- this is one of the most versatile classes in the game. Often preferred over other classes in end-game due to their ability to wear plate and heal/tank/dps at the same time, BUT you will always be figuring out which piece of armor goes with which gear (healing, tanking, DPS) as well as the fact that well, most pallies are incredibly narcisisstic. (BDSM equivalent: Switch)
Druid: Another hybrid class. Tanking, Healing, and DPS are all viable for this toon, but this one has the added bonus of being able to switch during battle. (not gear, but forms) Druids get bear, cat, travel, flight, sea-otter thingy, tree (for healing spec) and moonkin (for DPS spec). BUT, druids with guilds are more often than not pressured to respec to resto ( healing). (BDSM equivalent: Switch)
Shaman: Four-elements, four totems. Mail wearing, awesome DPS. Loved by ret pallies for windfury totem and loved by healers for healing stream/mana stream totems. BUT, if you don't like to set up before a fight, this is not the class for you. Totem-whores =D (BDSM equivalent: Switch)

Alright, so that's it for the newbie list, and just so you know, not every class is really able to solo quickly. For example, my new priesty is lvling holy just for fun, and it's taken me three weeks now to get her to 40.

There was a lifestyle only guild on Stormscale about a year and a half ago started by a ton named Loonyprof, and I'm sure there are more, I may have to reroll and/or transfer to join this guild you guys are setting up, leaving one of my mains as GLeader of my guild now.
Anyways- WoW rocks and it's addicting.

I like the "BDSM equivalent" bits.  Not that I agree with them, but they're a neat spin on the subject for this site.  :P

My main is a lock and probably why I chose it lol.. I remember starting EQ back in 1998 and I played a Mage with pets and everytime I gave a command it was.. As you wish Master, or something with Master in it lol.. Now I have an obnoxious imp that back talks a Succubus that I adore a Voidwalker that gibbers about the void all the time and an Infernal that never says a word. Of course the Felhunter deserves its own sentence as it reminds me of the lost puppy that always follows its Master around and happily kills people.

I did start a Paladin though and it is definately alot different from the lock. I leveled my lock to 60 pre TBC under 10 days.. My Paladin took around 20 days to level to 60 and this is in game time so real life it took a tad longer. I would love to reroll and play with you guys but I most likely would be inactive as I am in a MH/BT guild and we still do SSC/TK for those that need tokens.

*cringes* Sorry but I despise that word even if it is used playfully. Some of the best players I know are hunters. Because of the high hunter population you tend to notice more of the bad players. If we are talking percentages though, I am sure every class equally  has it's fair share of morons. For the record, it takes much more skill to CC as a hunter than it does any other class. :)

Pally's rock on PVP servers.  :D  And the Felhunter sentence is great!  :D        I've been passing the thought of a pally.

Luckily a gnome friend of mine invented some goggles that makes everyone look like undead males to the wearer. I'm safe for now.
