Enjoying and loving life has no bearing whatsoever to the loss that is felt when someone you love has died.  Nor is grief, and how much and how long and how prominent it is in your life, a gage of the amount of love that you had for the person.  People grieve and then move on.  They do it every single second of every single day.  I have.  Dying is part of life.  From the moment you are born, it's just a countdown to the moment you die.  Do I miss my mom and my son?  You betcha.  Do I allow those sad thoughts to rule my days?  Nope.  Do I still cry thirteen years later for my mom?  Yes, on occasion.  I always will.
Ah fuck it.  Those who get it, get it.  Those who don't, don't.

Well you ass, I did mean I was sorry for your loss!
Should I have ignored what you said, and said nothing?

YOU, DG....have more issues than a magazine!
Now kiss my black ass and goodnight, beach.

Wasn't trying to pick on you....Just trying to pointy to the absurdity of dwelling in grief over death...We Domiguys have never done it...Big party when someone gacks....It is often spoke of in awwww.

I would like that black ass in front of me...beeeeyatch! We would "make love."

If you manage to live through one of the hardest things you will ever live
through, you don't sweat the pity shit.

If it seems like I don't give a damn about a lot of "little" things?
It's true, I don't give a flying fuck about small things anymore.

THAT has been liberating.
You don't live through tragedy, and worry about who likes you, or what others think
about you, impressing others, etc.
 Mz. Mia is free

I think my father's death innoculated me against that sort of thing.

Nonetheless, little things like bills and clearing the snow and starting a fire in the woodstove still need to be done, can't entirely ignore the small stuff.

You have to agree to be my beeeeeeeeyatch first.

You will have to learn to beg, crawl on your belly like a snake, and beg some more.
Now submit!

Oh you know you want to.  My beaver is big and wet and hairy.  The poor thing is grieving over lack of wood.

It is an Italian beaver after all.  Getting back to grieving....ever been to an Italian wake?  They are louder than parties and the lives are celebrated.

I love nature shows.

Death is the great balancing act of nature....Have you ever seen the footage of the great white attacking the whale?

Not for the faint of heart...Don't look Bob. It's very graphic
