Status: offline 		You've gotten a lot of god advice, I'll reiterate, for me, when I'm not looking is when wonderful people find me.  In fact, that has been the case for every relationship I've had in the last 15 years, partners, play partners, people in service and even good close friends.

If you're intent on looking for rather than aournd (LOVE that!) ... what are you doing besides your CM  profile?  Going to all kinds of parties?  social events? meetings? places where like minds congregate?  Those are all things you should do because ultimately, if you want someone in your arms, you should look in the flesh.. although online isn't a bad place to start.

I agree that you should change that profile.  Personally, I wouldn't read past the part that says you're dropping off the face of the earth.

Fox came into my life by accident. We met with no intentions past taking pictures and have been together for nearly 5 months.
The harder you look, the less you find. When you are actively looking for the "right sub/slave" you forget to look for the right person and worry about the rest later. You dont want a relationship with a title, you want a relationship with a person who is interested in having that title. And like others have said, if online doesnt work for you, move to realtime meetings. Face to face tends to kickstart the chemistry a bit faster than email.

Meh.  I think it's just something you have to think about.. what you actually want, how to find it, what it'll look like, and how to take it.  Or you could go with the more popular bit of just trying your luck with random people who look like they might work and hoping for the best.

I had to really laff at that line....  I have actually heard that line before from someone bemoaning the fact that they couldn't find anyone.  So I think to myself if the straight world doesn't want you... Why in the world would you think the gays want you.  I call it pretzel logic ...all twisted n stuff

I'll echo the others who have said don't look so hard. The esteemed asteroid-hunting astronomer Elinor Helin once said about the possibility of an asteroid hitting Earth, "It's the one that sneaks around from behind the Sun that'll get us."
 
Same thing with the "One." He/she will probably just sneak right up on you and WHAM...you'll never know what hit you!

I'm sure there are a lot of subs and slaves who are asking the same question. I definatly think it's easier to find "the one" now that we have the internet to help us search. It still takes time though. Keep looking but instead of looking for your soulmate, look for friends and like-minded people. That's when she'll appear, when you least expect it. In the meantime you'll be having fun and learning new things.
