BalletBob -> RE: Help--Trying to Modify Syringes (9/18/2005 5:00:04 PM)

Hi Trj. I am going to be doing that too, but I am using a Adhesive Syringe. I am sorry but I don't have any pictures of how to do it, but here goes. There are a couple ways to make suction devices from syringes. The simplest (and one of the most effective) is: 1 - remove plunger 2 - cut off the injection end of the syringe, right where it narrows down from the barrel diameter 3 - drill cross-holes in the plunger body to accept a nail or other small pin 4 - Insert plunger back into body, thoguh the cut end. To use, place on body (saliva or lube will help make a seal) with plunger all of the way down/in. Retract plunger to create desired vacuum. Insert nail through lowest cross-hole to keep plunger pulled back. I hope this will help you out. If I get a picture of the process, I will post it. or if I get mine done, I'll take some pictures for you. BalletBob
