Does A/anyone here know of a good hair remover (for faces and/or other body parts)? We (my Husband and I) tried nair with disasterous results (NEVER use that stuff on scrotums!), and are looking for something different. We have heard of one that some African American men use on their faces, but alas neither one of us can remember the name of it. Any help is appreciated.

please search under the Health section (your post may be eventually moved there) for words like "shaving" "hair removal" "razor burn" and "razor bumps".
this discussion has been going on for eons and the overal opinion seems to be to go get lasered.
other ideas have included the Shave Magic powder you mentioned, Nad's, Hair minimizing lotions, Bikini razors (not the pen types, the single blades), and the best quality razor you can afford. I suggest Venus or Mach 3 personally. Any 'guarded' razor is good.
i would go on to say that using chemicals on your naughty bits usually ends up a miserable experience, but waxing it tolerable after a few visits.
try googling pubic hair removal or even shaving pussy and you'll find a nifty shaver by Seiko for about 65.00 too along with a couple of good websites w/shaving tips

It is called "Magic" and comes in both a powder and a cream. When using it on the genital area, use a condom as it doesn't "play nice" with mucus tissues.

Never use nair for anything other than fixing a clogged up toilet, that stuff burn right through your skin like acid if you are unlucky.

The only thing that seems to work for me is getting waxed. It's far superior than anything else, and the pain of having it done is minor and temporary. If you're submissive, you can even trick yourself into liking it :)

As a person of color shaving the naughty bits does not result in perfect results, i.e. those horrible razor bumps. I have used the depilatory cream Magic Shave not Magic (sorry not trying to be correcting folks but that is just the name it is called), it does come in powder form too that you mixup. It was fine but it is very harsh.
However, I currently use Veet or Sally Hansen's Depilatory Cream, she has one that has a Brazilian wax formula is comes in a greenish or teal colored tube. It is not as harsh as other types of creams, I was very happy with the end result. Please be careful when using these because they all say do not put on genital areas or mucosa.

I prefer a brazilian wax..The only problem is it's expensive. I don't get to have it that often. In the meantime I shave with an intuition. It sure makes the area slick and shaves close. I like that is has it's own shaving creme in the top. Just a suggestion..I have tried many, many things..

Respectfully,
sultry

Since I only have a SMALL area to do....boo hoo hoo...I just use one of those throw away triple headed razors. I just make sure the skin on my Cookies and Tiny WEANER are tight, and then go at it. I never done my legs (YET), because and my wife would probably remove SOMETHING I WANT....ha ha ha

I have recently been waxed down below! Full Hollywood. Yes it stings a bit. Yes it is embarrasing but oh my gosh! The result is far superior to anything else I have experienced. Shaving is not an option for me as I just nick myself all the time so it is not pretty. Also, a lot of hair removal products do not work well if the hair is coarse. There are home waxing kits you can buy. May be worth thinking about?

Good luck with your quest!

It's like a major event, shaving down there. lol. Triple blade, special "no bumps" (what a lie) gel, special after shaving antiseptic gel (I use the Bikini Zone products). I would like to get waxed, maybe one day. I can't do depilatories, the burn, the smell, the rash, it's bad for me.

Nonsense. If you slathered it on then fell asleep, it might burn your skin. If you follow the directions it's perfectly safe.

You know they have 4 blades now right? In my experience you get "no bumps" when you have a nice sharp blade. Doesn't matter how many blades you have. Just sharp. The amount of blades is the closer to the skin you will shave and hopefully the longer the shave will last. Which with me is about 3 hours...hehe.

I finally found what seems to work for me: my recipe. I used to be able to shave one, maybe two days in a row before it got so bad I would have to let it grow out a few days. I use conditioner (like for your hair- the only time I ever watched Opra she recomended that as an alternative to shave cream) I like Treseme and use a very thick type- like extra body (get it cause I use it on my body-lol). Afterwards I coat myself with babyoil and pat dry (no rubbing) then I smear myself with Eucerine cream- it is this VERY thick heavy duty moisturizer for people with very dry skin- even exceme. It goes on like cake frosting or crisco and my whole pussy is thuroughly coated. Then I put on panties and get dressed. The heat from my body 'melts' it and is soaks into my body. My panties feel a little slick but but I get no more razor bumps and I am so very soft down there! Also it is best to get rid of ingrown hairs right away so they don't get infected or cause worse problems- tweeze 'em right away. My $0.02

Hey all:

Luvdragon and I checked this one out and offer the following tip:

Being Black, I'be known several people that have used the product JohnWarren mentioned (we know it as Magic Shave), and essentially it is Nair, only stronger, as Black people's hair is kinkier, wavier and thicker, so the depilatory needs to be a bit stronger to obtain the same result. But other than that, it's no different than using Nair. For those with finer, straighter hair, we both agree that Nair would be less likely to irritate than Magic Shave. On top of that, Nair is much easier to find.

Good Luck

yeah passion I used it on the genitals trying the mons first and it's pretty much useless on my hair. yours may differ but eh, it was a lot of effort a lot of time and a lot of stink, nair stinks no matter what happy little scent they try to market it as..

saw an interesting demo on straight razor shaving last sunday...seems to be very worth it and can be a scene or a service to your Dominant...particularly the dry shave option...
