So, if Al Gore had won in 2000, do you think we'd be bombing China to save the Earth from global warming?

Good question! There's also this: China is bombing our national parks with mercury and other pollutants and toxins. Al Gore wouldn't have been happy with the Chinese at all!
quote:
BILLINGS, Mont. - Pesticides, heavy metals and other airborne contaminants are raining down on national parks across the West and Alaska, turning up at sometimes dangerously high levels in lakes, plants and fish....
...Much of the contamination is thought to have come from overseas — traveling global air currents from Europe and Asia.

we would be bombing everyone with a carbon foot print except al.
and legislation mandating no bug left behind.

Well now, since 'we' (corporate and governmental 'interests', representing 'we' the people) have out-sourced so much that merely required local destruction of environment combined with vicious exploitation of locals ...
Now Honestly, how could China [correction, 'Red' China] have been expected to resist?
Besides... seeing as 'pollution' is the token issue, clearly it is all Al Gore's fault. [tongue firmly in cheek]
